Villanova loses to St Johns

I know many are upset over the loss to NW last night but at least we didn’t lose on our home court to a 11-13 team. With college age kids, any game over a long season is completely unpredictable.

I know they didn’t lose, but Sparty went to the wire last night with an Iowa team that is 3-10 in th B10. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised in Nebraska is ranked by the end of the year. Everything is fine folks

for Michigan is they're not a great shooting team. They're shooting 36.1% from 3 pt as whole which isn't bad but combined with their dreadful FT shooting, the offense hasn't been playing up to the usual offensive standards. Luckily, their defense is pretty solid which helps. They are winning games in a grind it out mode.

This could be the big thing that turns St. John's around. Mullin has them playing well and more importantly with attitude and maybe this will attract some better recruits.  They didn't give a damn that they were playing #4 Duke and #1 Villanova.  They went out and got it.

Whatever St. John's is on, can Michigan have some? Mentality goes a long way in this game.

St. John's played the Musketeers tight at home and on the road. They are certainly much better than their record implies (especially how they had lost 11 straight before the upsets of Duke and Villanova). When we played them and eked out those wins I had a feeling they were due to upset someone. To upset AT Villanova and at a neutral court with 85% Duke fans is unbelievable, especially after losing 11 straight. I wonder if any team that has lost 11 straight went on to upset two Top 5 teams in back-to-back games. It makes you wonder how they lost to DePaul by 17 at home.
