those 1st few possessions we had were beautiful. We felt unstoppable until Wilton's pick and then we felt like we were terrified of making another mistake

Gedeon had a really rough game. It's becoming a trend now where he's getting picked on by opposing RB's in the pass game. Clement, Barkley, and now Scott have all had success going right at him. Brown's going to have to address this going forward.

Way too many missed tackles. McCray and Stribling were big culprits in this area.

And wow, MSU got away with an egregious amount of holding. If I'm Harbaugh I'm lighting up the B1G office about that crap. Ridiculous the way that game was officiated in the 4th quarter.

LB vs RB is almost always a coverage mismatch in favor of the RB. In a hyper aggressive defense there will be many RB vs LB one on one matchups. Gedeon has gotten beat lately but he has been in good position which gives me hope. Without changing our style of D I don't think we can adjust Gedeon vs RB much at all.

Gedeon is built like a run-thumping LB and his stat line shows it. Guys that big probably aren't the best at chasing down RBs out of the flat.

Conversely, Jabrill trying to eat pulling guards is going to go poorly, but him on a RB out of the backfield is probably 100% covered. Seems like something opposing OCs would try to manipulate no matter who is there, right?

Is there some consequence for god-awful officiating? It seems like there would be repercussions for missing that many obvious calls. Is there a review period or complaint process? Seems like Harbaugh would be kicking down the door after officiating like that...
