(specifically Robinson and the Boisture/Bolden/Gardner rankings) is causing a stink on the premium message boards. and for good reason IMO.

Just another example of these kids being punished by the recruiting services for committing so early. Only one of the kids added is committed and I believe at least four of the kids that were dropped have committed. M Rob Ricardo and Gardner are definitely top 100 recruits! wasn't it rivals that said Ricardo had 5 star potential? but he's committed early. Didn't M-Rob and Gardner both win MVP at camps? I always thought MVP stood for most valuable player, but I guess I was mistaken.

im not one to jump on the conspiracy theory bandwagon, but its certainly to rivals advantage to have the high profile recruits uncommitted as long as possible so they can keep the hype up. if all 100 of the guys were committed then rivals wouldnt have a whole lot to talk about

My point is, the Rivals 100 is full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Whether Marvin Robinson is the #10 player in the country or #187, he's still going to be the same player. The same thing goes for Devin Gardner, Ricardo Miller, Drew Dileo, etc. I don't know why anyone would be upset that some of these guys might drop out of/not be in the top 100. It's just kind of silly.

Maybe Gardner isn't that good. Ever think of that? Ever seen his highlight tape? I guess not. He isn't that good.

Didn't you just post this on Brian's front page comments? "A 4.57 is a good time for Gardner. He has a lot of work to do as far as throwing motion goes, but I think he will be our QB his Junior and Senior year!"

That was truly amazing Tom! Nothing like backing up an argument with cold hard facts. Nice work. OT: who are some kids in AZ to keep an eye out for this year? I always like seeing good local talent (not just at the Tempe bars) and enjoyed watching Roh and Lewan last year.

I got to see Dwayne Garrett (RB) this past season. He was teammates with Lewan and Roh, and will be a junior this year. He's going to be good. When I was there, someone from Georgia was talking to him. I get confused still with some of the high schools, but there was another kid I wanted to see at, I think, Hamilton. I'll have to double check though.
