Watching him tonight against…

Watching him tonight against the Celtics and he has badly bricked four shots, turned the ball over twice and is having major issues on defense.

He looks the way one of us would look if we got thrown into a D1 game.

yeah. how dare they

start an investigation, get a wiretap and catch people red handed.

this doesn't make sense

a "recruiting mistake" with a QB is something more like Ryan Mallet, where you skip taking a QB to clear the depth chart around one kid. To say that about a RS Freshman when you took a borderline 5 star right behind him seems unwarranted. Even if it never works out, I don't think it's right to imply that Peters would be some wholly unique disappointment than the typical 4 star guy that doesn't live up to the hype. (unless quits or gets kicked off the team)

yeah

I wasn't 100% sure if this was the same adopted son as some of the existing allegations, but given his track record it's hard to imagine any child in that house escaped that horror.

awful stuff. I was just hoping to remind everyone that is significantly different than "another Bullough got suspended".

that kind of behavior

from a person that was abused themselves is a lot more complex than apples falling off trees.

cool.

we need one of those for our guy and found someone to airbrush a bunch of different things on it. unfortunately the wife's side of the family are Clemson grads, so we had to share some real estate because of their championship

I can only assume that

against Ohio State they are going to break tendency and have Shane fake the pitch, take 1 step back and throw a deep ball. If not, then they should just mothball that package.

Last I saw

Nordin was wearing #3 on the sidelines. doesn't seem like a great sign for getting on the field this season.

I am just hoping

they start playing football and we get past the MGoBravo! turn the site has taken.

Playoff Committee Starts Fire

then congratulates itself for putting it out.

but have they resolved

the imbalance of power between Mew and MewTwo?

I don't see the big deal

about separate checks. I kind of just want to pay for what my wife and I are ordering. it doesn't have to be down the penny, but if you want a decent tip don't give me a stank face because you have to do some elementary school accounting and know who ordered what. that's kind of your fucking job.

so realistically LeBron

KD, Westbrook, KD and Curry should be $40 or $50 million a year players then, right?

I know they probably won't get quite that much, but if 15 and 5 gets you $30 million, mathematically those guys deserve almost double.

good god

that guy sucks. unless you happen to love the OHL and the Montreal Canadiens and shitting on every Michigan pro sports team.

we could have another

Obi Eze(h)?

Toronto is the NHL Knicks

Fuck Toronto.

precisely.

it's like the OP has never seen Multiplicity.

a big middle finger to

the Alabama university system "trustees" and a cfb weekend worth of good press.

a little

But in a normal business this type of scenario is why people are asked to sign non-compete agreements. the only difference is we don't want to think of recruits as products.

all of that aside, if you need to hire someone to develop relationships with teenagers and their parents, wouldn't you want to consider hiring someone that is doing exactly that job right now? the only difference between Bush and someone currently at a university is scale.

I didn't know

"Superman" feared injury

/*jerkoff motion*

I remember

a writeup somewhere about Hopson and Barkevious Mingo at a UM hockey game. Even then I wondered if they just stared at each other and the ice and thought "nope".

I trust Brian

this thread reads like an interdepartment committee meetings where a bunch of non IT people suggest expensive new solutions their department isn't paying for and they don't have to implement.

what is Jason doing?

I know they are separate people and any of a thousand legit reasons could exists, but I feel like the event necessitates both

I was hoping

That JUB wrote a random article about one-time Rich Rod commit Shavodrick Beaver.

*yawn*

wake me up when it's the God particle

;)

/cool stuff. thanks for the info.

I would be ok with it

if they basically went to 1, maybe 2 non conference games. wouldn't be enough crossover to really be a true conference, but with the conference championship being a de facto playoff game, any dilution would be limited.

I imagine it to be

Like the fight scene between Keith David and Roddy Piper in "They Live", with a basketball.

better pin this one

to the top of the board.

But how many

mgopoints do you get for doing it? I've got my eye on the Michigan stadium flyby with the fighter jets.

"how long are you going to be in a bad mood?"

has never helped the situation ever.

if one of the women reading this could explain that to my wife I would very much appreciate it.

yup.

I have been wondering where I will find all of the "Ask The Maester" and other columns that will fill in the blanks from the 12,000 pages of GRRM I didn't read.

if you were allowed

to count cards while everyone else played blind, don't you think that would be a huge advantage?

I hope this

forces them to pull the reigns back a bit on the ads. they advertise like 4 times an hour on every show I watch or listen to.

and obviously knowing the percentages of such a large sample size would be a huge advantage towards deciding whether or not to buy a $25 lottery ticket.

I never knew

this piece had such a long history. I always just assumed that it was just a semi-humorous way to say "if everything goes right/wrong this should be the result"

which is why the predictions last week were a bit unsettling.

it's all good though.

I would rather

go with O'Korn or any of the the other half dozen QBs on scholarship right now. if only because they all have more than one year of eligibility should they turn out to be awesome or even better than serviceable

it's week 2

and we're 1-1. settle down.

Thanks

for sharing this. I was unable to go last night but was interested in what attendance would be like given the location and it's already strange hours. sounds like it was a success.

crazy.

I root for a hail Mary to work every time so that the library of cfb highlight options will be big enough that I might never see Kordell Stewart to Michael Westbrook ever again.

seems risky

Unless he is reimbursing for something that is already finished. otherwise if this is the normal "will be ready 2 seasons from now" type of deal he could easily be fired or quit by then.

I tried

for the 49 inch 4k Vizio for $599 but I saw it too late and couldn't get the deal or the wait list. it was about $150 off and now the same price as the 43 I was planning to get.

actually it was

a Potbelly that served alcohol if you want to be 100% accurate.

the jerk store called

... they're running out of YOU!

why are they marketing in Dubai?

I get the climate similarities, but is that enough to get them to send people to college in Texas?

yes

$5500 per game for the last WC, plus $1500 for each of the friendlies right before they left. there was also 60 or 70k award for making the roster period.

I assume those figures are less in a non WC year but probably not by much. women's figures suggest they may not earn any appearance fees or per diems but may instead get a base "salary" (around 50k) from USSF for being a USWNT player.

transplanted sod

from California. but still the only WC games every played indoors I think

I think the common

theme here is "high profile athletes" more so than a male/female issue. I guess that's why I don't get outraged. kind of like OJ.

the common thread there was more that "rich people with good lawyers get away with stuff" more than "minorities can beat the system too!

so then the argument

Is ultimately zero tolerance for now and ever more? I get that there actually is a double standard. but people get all worked up about something like this as though her suspension would be some type of "win" on domestic abuser punishment ledger. I just don't get that.

Is that somehow

going to make things "equal"? I get it, she is probably not a great person and nobody should be celebrating her. but this "double standard" aegument always feels like some type of weird "see! everybody does it" Terelle Pryor kind of reasoning.

yeah, best bet

(but highly unlikely) would be for UEFA to expand euro 2016 to something like 24 teams, with their traditional 16 UEFA qualified teams and handful of special invitations to major CONMEBOL and CONCACAF draws. then use that as your reset button for the new World (order) Cup. tremendously unlikely, especially with Europe getting a WC in 2018. perhaps if Qatar had been 2022 and Russia 2022 this might happen, but at this point I assume everyone is just waiting for Blatter to die, then blame him for everything and continue with a slightly less overt system of corruption by 2022. and if we're lucky Blatter kicks the bucket (or gets thrown out) around 2018 and a new boss with UEFA ties undoes this whole winter WC in Qatar

they could

and probably should. but like the power 5 seceding from the NCAA, you need a fully developed plan to walk away from the paydays already in place. because as much as everyone would applaud you for leaving on day 1, the clock would start ticking to announce something decent to replace the world cup you just gave up. and since there is already a Euro 2016 and champions League in place, it would be hard to come up with something new unless another federation jumped ship with you.
