Blue/Maize. It's obviously a big game but not worthy of the all-blue IMO.

Yeah I'll take my downvotes. It's a big game because it's the big ten championship, but I'm thinking of opponent. I see the all blue uniforms as the go-to for OSU, MSU, or PSU and that's about it.
It's a big game against and opponent that Michigan shouldn't have any trouble with.

All blues. While I get the idea of tradition, this team’s identity is that of blue collar go to work and kick butt and the all blues seem to fit that identity well.

The all-blues look tough and angry. I do think that they add an intimidation factor for the opponent.

I would guess that they go:
Traditional home in the B1G Championship game (Blue Jerseys, Maize Pants, probably blue or white accessories)
All Blue for the CFP semifinal with maize accessories
If we play UGA when we make the National Championship game I think it could be any away combination, but I wouldn't be surprised if they went all-white since that's what they wore vs OSU.

Just no white socks look again. That looked absolutely terrible the last time. Some were dirty before game play and just looked sloppy with the shoes being all over the board look-wise.

Is there a home combination that we know they can do but haven’t ever tried before? What’s left? I assume the only options on the palette are blue, maize and white. And if we’re home, we know they can’t do white jerseys.

Blue jersey with the all-white's pants. I think it would actually look pretty cool.
But save that experimentation for a September creampuff game.

There's always maize jerseys. Prior to 2017 I hated the thought but I recently read on MVictors that we did wear the "canaries" in a game against Navy way back in 1929. So there is historical precedent and I don't think they looked bad in that 17 Florida game.
I'm not saying they should do it in this game, but I wouldn't mind the all-maize look in a neutral site game (like the B1GCG) against a team in their own dark color home uniform. The Pac-12 rivalry games, USC-UCLA and Oregon-OSU did color on color this year, and I liked the look. We could do that too the way we use all maize unis in basketball.

If Michigan is the "home team" this year, I hope they just keep it traditional. Blue jersey, maize pants. I honestly don't feel like we see that enough anymore. All blues are fine, but classics are classics for a reason.

As a current student who grew up in the Adidas era... I actually liked a lot of the alternate uniforms and I kinda want to see one maybe every other year or so *ducks*
