For those of you who follow his posts, just wanted to let folks know that his daughter and granddaughter were in a bad car accident on Sunday.  The granddaughter looks to be doing okay but his daughter is headed into surgery on her pelvis right now.

This was posted over at Rivals, where he posts under a different account name, and he said it was okay to post here.

The family has set up a GoFundMe which I'll link below (I hope that's okay - I don't post a lot here).  I'm sure someone will do something if it's not.

In any event, please keep the family in your thoughts.

Even this post is a nice distraction. I am making sure I read every single one of these! MGoBlog is one hell of a community! I will keep you updated as much as I can.

Sitting here looking at my 2 year old and 2 week old daughters I can’t imagine what you are going through. Prayers to you and your family for a full recovery for you daughter and granddaughter!

This made my heart sink, prayers to you and the rest of your family UMBig11. Your daughter sounds like a hell of a fighter.

We officially have her back!! We just received the results from the Operating Room! They repaired her Pelvis and she will walk again! All of her cardiovascular issues are repaired. Her internal organs are repaired. There are no further signs of internal bleeding. She will be weened off the ventilator and breathing on her own tonight or tomorrow morning. Lots of rehab to do, but she will make a full recovery! She will be reunited with her daughter soon. She hasn’t been able to see her for nearly a week. They will move from the Vascular ICU to the Trauma ICU for a few weeks tomorrow!!

And Praise God. (That is pretty generic and will not hopefully offend any of you, especially those who prayed). This is a worthy occasion for a first comment, though there still sounds like tough times ahead, for all of you.

So difficult waiting during a surgery, but everything is amplified when it's unexpected and tragic like this. From one father to another, we are praying for you all down here in Virginia. Praying for strength for your daughter to pull through this. Edit: oh hey look... there's a 2nd page to this thread with good news in it! We won't stop praying though. A relief but still need strength for the road ahead. Glad she will recover.
