People like Heather Dinich, who interact with the committee on a regular basis, have said they will pick the team they believe is best. Not sure anyone can definitively say that they see OSU as better than Bama even if the coaches do (for now). They apparently consider theoretical head to head matchups and after seeing OSU get bushwhacked they very well could take Bama. Without a conference championship is 11-1 that much better than 10-2? Especially considering how weak the Big Ten has been this year outside of the top 3. Bama is not out of it yet.

F this: I know the BIG has three teams. How many does the SEC have? Four? Give me a break. I think an average Wisconsin team has a shot at the SEC west #2 spot each year.  See Arkansas, ole miss, Mississippi, Texas AM, Missouri. You afraid to play any of those games? East: UT and UGA look pretty good. UK, vandy, s Carolina Florida? I’ll trade sparty for any SEC team save UGA, UT, bama ( looking at you chip Kelly)

Bama did not have any good wins this year. Their best win is Ole Miss? Texas? They had 3 close wins including Texas A&M. But their losses were close to LSU and TN.

OSU had two decent wins, but ND shit the bed and PSU has not won against anybody good. OSU was not a match for UM.

I can see committee favoring Bama over OSU or the other way around.

But, it would not surprise me if they put USC over OSU if USC lose in the conference championship game as OSU does not play in one, especially if USC loses a close one. Same goes for TCU.

I know this is just rhetoric. But hard to comprehend how UGA has something that shows they’re better than beating the #2 in the country l, in their house… not only 45-23 but 29-3 in the 2nd half, holding them to 19 on the ground.

what in UGA’s resume shows that they’ve done better than that.

Apparently style points, last years wins and opponent strength is only applied when you’re the luster of CFP and or in the SEC

I like how that sets up for the B1G in bowl games. UofM should be favored over TCU, OSU should be favored over Washington in the Rose Bowl. Assuming Bama goes to the Sugar Bowl, that probably leaves PSU as a favorite over Tennessee in the Citrus Bowl, or over Clemson in the Orange Bowl, right?
