This will be the place for hot takes regarding the overall quality of coaching.

Over 100 played for Michigan.  Total domination for 4 quarters.  Wish Cade had not taken that hit on the pass he completed, but that's not coaching.  Everybody played and ate well today.

Great coaches. Have a legitimate opportunity to repeat as B1G champions. Got a lot out of this game and I am sure they will shore up a few busts they saw today. Looking forward to the next game.

Honest question: Why all the short stuff in the passing game? Concern about the pass pro? Making sure JJ has touch on short passes for when they are needed?

Keeps the downfield throws off film for other teams. Fortunately, OSU still throws downfield against zone defenses and softer teams, so now the rest of the B1G East knows how to stop them.

I wish they’d have tried some more aggressive passing as well, even against zone. We'll see next week.

I mean idk what to say. Short passing game is annoying, no throws to andrel or Cornelius. Both are used for the run game pretty much. Andrel is a weapon that they don’t know how to use..

They get an A+ because they kept the players focused for all 60 minutes and on offense, defense and special teams. Play calling was as expected by showing the entire book.

The coaching staff treated this game like it really mattered.

This was the most penalties they've taken, and it was only 4 (1, 3, 4).  Some may mention the two time outs in the first half, but I've seen worse.  1-1/2 bits of yakety sax on defense. They're organized.

A+. Team was energized and disciplined for all 60. A lot of guys played and it didn’t look like the two deep had any injuries (Cade’s status is questionable). 7 QBs with a completion - that must be close to an NCAA record.

JJ has already shown he’s willing to go deep in previous games. Unless it starts happening on a week to week basis, I’m guessing this was just part of this week’s gameplan. UConn was giving a lot of cushion and it seemed like they wanted to try keeping everything in front of them.

Harbaugh was probably just content with taking what an overmatched opponent was going to give him.

2 time outs in the 1st quarter, but it was the right call both times. Good jerb. Noticed lots of motion and "speed-in-space" to open things up because Uconn was playing 5-7 in coverage bend-then-break defense. Again, good jerb.

Once that I recall, but I too was concerned he wasn’t getting more thrown his way, especially after Brian’s pre-season build-up of him, and also among reports that he may be getting frustrated that he’s not being targeted more. The good news is that we have a very deep WR room; the bad news is there’s only one ball. I was intrigued by how many touches Henning got yesterday, and wonder if that’s a coaching decision or a JJ one.

It's pretty much a given that Harbaugh will continue to underuse the passing game.  It's going to cost us at least 1 or 2 good receivers in the transfer portal.
