I'm glad this one is over. It won't get easier in a couple of weeks. Good thing is we've played Mankato and the upside down W so if we get past Denver the preparation will be easier but that goes both ways.
They had it the whole way, lol.
I think we were 3-8 in semi final games under Red with Marty Turco and Shawn Hunwick coming up huge in the 3 wins, and of course 0-1 under Mel

If this team stays focused, they can put up 5+ goals on anyone, but like Mel said, they need to play hard all three periods, not just two.
But so much talent on this team, and it's really great to see them respond to some adversity and finish Quinnipiac off!

With that said, I'm close to speechless, wow.
I swear to God, it's like they let Mel coach the other team for an unbelievably crucial ten seconds. Like a video game where you get to take over the other team. That was unfathomably stupid to pull the goalie. Thank you, Rand Pecknold. Way too early to do that in a game that was going all one way. Lifeline, whew.
Couldn’t get to a TV. Tuned into MGoBlog at beginning of the 2nd period (as far as the string was at that point) and “watched” the game that way. Better than actually watching on TV.

Man, what was the Q-pac coach thinking? He had all the momentum and I was thinking we'd be lucky to hold them off for another 4 minutes. Then he pulls his goalie way too early and gives us two freebie goals. Just completely deflated them.
