Other Game: MN 1, WMU 0, late 2nd. WMU tied it before 12:00 of the 2nd, but it got called off by a review, offsides by an inch or two.

Saturday results: Denver 2, MN-Duluth 1. MN St 1, ND 0.

...in other related hockey news, Notre Dame lost 1-0 to Minnesota State.  On the first shift, a ND senior left the game with a lower leg injury (Nick Leivermann?) and then Minn St scored with 16 seconds left in the first period.  The first intermission must have been a real downer.

Cant say I really want Minnesota to win, but I definitely wont mind if Western loses. The yapping that fanbase has done this season has been so annoying

Plus Western is probably the team I’d be most worried about given how the fall series went. Maybe them or Denver

Yes Q-Pac, let your defense give up the blue line.  We had room all the way down to the dots before we caught any pressure on that rush.  I can attest from lots of youth hockey that such a plan is a sure-fire way to give up goals.
