FYI because this stupid game is on Peacock Premium, I found out that Comcast, Cox, and Spectrum subscribers can get free premium for up to a year so you may be in luck

Alternative is to grumble and pay $4.99 for a subscription you immediately cancel Sunday morning

Or you could go to onhockey.tv or find the mgocrazy stream (if he's doing it)

Mel's gonna try the super line again tonight. Love it

Michigan's running an Olympics line of Johnson/Beniers/Brisson. Interesting to see how they insert back into the lineup.

So I'd guess we'll see that followed by

Pasta-Bordeleau-Estapa
Samo-Beecher-Duke
Moyle-GVW-PLP
Keranen as the extra skater?

@Michigan Arrogance

Minnesota can max out at 55 points to our current 51, so wouldnt we need 4 to ensure a cotitle? Minnesota could beat us 55-54 with us splitting

I use peacock but never for a sporting event,,, is it still “your event will start shortly?”

Edit: my bad, now I see it’s 730, not 7 ,,

We'll be Champions

If youre a big soccer fan, Peacock isn't the worst investment in the world. They also just extended their contract with the premier league so they'll have them for the foreseeable future. Otherwise, I legitimately can't think of a good reason to have Peacock. Theyre original shows aren't good and their other stuff is also on other streaming services (outside of the Office)

If Tech takes even a point off of Minnesota State in two games this weekend, it gives Michigan the common opponent comparison. Minnesota State would still have a chance to remedy that if they play LSSU in the playoffs (possible!) and win. But if they lose the common opponent comparison to us our comparison lead over them is unassailable. Which doesn't guarantee a better seed--RPI is still the tie-breaker--but it can help.

I just discovered that my Spectrum subscription gives me a free year of Peacock, *and* I enjoy soccer, *and* I also watch Supercross, so this is fortuitous. I'll be watching.

re: The Lineup--yeah, makes sense that three guys who have been out for a few weeks would get dumped in the last line so they could have time to learn how to play at game speed, or something.

Turned on a Peacock Premium trial a few weeks ago to catch the Super Bowl and found out that the game was available today via MGoBlog.

To be completely honest, I know very little about hockey (mostly tuned into Football and Basketball), but looking forward to the game. Hear a lot of good things about this year's team, really excited to tune in!

Re: needing help from Wisconsin - I can tell you I don’t feel Uber-confident about our ability to sweep. This is Jeff Jackson. He has been Michigan’s Kryptonite for 30 years.

It may not be a coincidence that Red’s two titles occurred when Jackson was out of college.
