The best thing about tomorrow is that it will be just me at the house as the rest of my family somehow volunteered to go shopping with my in-laws in Birch Run while there was football on. I cannot imagine making such a commitment during this time of the year, so I am not sure what was on my wife's mind. Being able to watch the noon games as well as ours without being interrupted every ten minutes? I'll take it.

Best regular season game in the history of pro sports.
Rivalry, bad blood, tension from the playoffs, lots of good and meaningful fights, yet also a great high scoring game that was won in OT.
It had it all.
And for me, it went perfectly. The Red Wings won every fight, and the guy who destroyed the hated Claude Lemeuix got the winning goal in OT. Darren McCarty is one exciting hockey player.
What a game.
