[Title edited]: Dennis Dodd (lists possible penalties which) Big Ten (might) threaten, (up to and including) TV Ban and withholding of revenue
This to me is cause for departure from the conference if they seriously try to do this. Messing with the money means nuclear option is viable.

[edit @10:10 pm: the end result is a bit unwieldy, but in an attempt to clarify the OP's original thread title, I simply edited in everything that you see in parentheses. -rob f]

Either of those penalties should be enough cause to leave the conference. It shouldn't even be a question if that is the case.

There is zero chance the conference blocks the single biggest matchup they have to sell to networks from being televised.

I don't think OSU would want a TV ban because that means their fans also wouldn't be able to watch The Game? How dumb can the B1G get

To be fair, this reads as the options the sportsmanship policy allows for wrt penalties. It doesn't state it is actually what we are being threatened with. This feels very click/rage bait-y.

The Big Ten should impose a TV ban when Iowa is on offense. Nobody wants to see that shit. Just go to commercial.

Our boy running this sh** show couldn't have timed it worse and good...screw him. This story is released and literally have the "NCAA investigation shows Harbaugh not involved" and "Rivals stealing and sharing Michigan signs" stories popping off within hours.
Probably dumb luck but that timing could not be more perfect for Michigan.

Withholding of Revenue? Hahahahahahaha good luck with that.
but hold on, a TV ban? Does that mean no more Fox games? Commercial free football? That would actually be amazing

any TV ban would be a significant loss of advertising revenue across all the networks. Brands will not accept makegoods for lesser games.
