Timeline on B1G Championship tickets from the Athletic Department?
Sorry if this has been addressed, but there has been a lot of new content in the last 24 hours. Does anyone know the timeline for finding out if you got tickets from the Athletic Department? I put in my application a few weeks ago and should qualify for two tickets based off of priority points, but I wasn't sure how likely that would actually be to happen. I have a hotel room set, but am wondering if I need to look at other sources of tickets.

I think I heard about tickets on Sunday night last year, so maybe soon?

I haven't heard anything, but someone posted that they got their tickets last night.

I haven't heard yet either, but am not optimistic based on my point total. But I'll wait it out before heading to the secondary market. I've got a hotel room just north of Indy though.

FWIW, I received the fulfillment email last year at 5:00pm on Sunday.

Thanks. So it seems like we will know with plenty of time. I googled and found Purdue's website which said they would fulfil on Wednesday which seems nuts.

Yup, same here. I looked back for last year’s fulfillment email, and it was sent at 5:02pm on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing another huge and enthusiastic Michigan contingent in Indy on Saturday!

Last year I got my seat assignment early Wednesday AM so that could be what they’re referring to.

I haven’t heard anything yet.

I spoke with the athletic department. Here was their response:

Anyone know what sections we had last year in Indy?
Just trying to get an understanding of some of the team sections assuming we will have similar allocations just on the home side this year.
Edit: Purdue has more info so assume we will have similar sections just on the other sideline.
WHAT SECTION IS THE PURDUE SECTION AT LUCAS OIL STADIUM?
The designated Purdue sections that the Hayes Family Athletics Ticket Office will allocate tickets in are the following sections: 101, 102, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 208. 209, 210, 211, 212, 307, 308, 309, 310, 401, 402, 403, 407, 408, 409, 410.

Not sure on last year as I bought in after market, but we will be on the home sideline this year.
"The city of Indianapolis and Lucas Oil Stadium will play host to the 12th annual Big Ten Football Championship Game on December 3, 2022. The champion of the East Division will be the designated home team for this year's contest and will face the champion of the West Division."

I would guess (and I see the message from the ticket office that connects) that it will be on Monday night or Tuesday morning because on the ticket page it says staff have until Monday at 12p to request 2 tickets and that they will be notified Tuesday 8a.

Just got my SOL email from the Athletic Department, this year you needed 300 priority points to get tickets.
17,500+ requested, 10,000 allotted.

Is the alumni association doing anything like a hotel block and charter busses from the suburbs? Hotels downtown are ridiculously priced...

I ended up getting tickets with a group so if I do get my original fulfilled I'm happy to send them to someone with lower point totals.
November 27th, 2022 at 7:40 PM ^
I would like to buy them if you get some. I think I’m still 20-30 points away. I need to beef up my contribution this offseason…2 years in a row without access.

I just got the email that I got 2 tickets at the $160 price level. Curious where that puts me in the stadium.
November 27th, 2022 at 8:21 PM ^
I got 4 in that tier last year and it was the end zone about 10 rows up. YMMV
November 27th, 2022 at 8:06 PM ^
Received fulfillment confirmation at 7:55pm.
November 27th, 2022 at 8:26 PM ^
Tickets just came in. 2x at the $160 level.
November 27th, 2022 at 8:53 PM ^
Got my denied email. Only were able to accommodate those with at least 300pts.
November 27th, 2022 at 8:59 PM ^
Same. 266 points for me, but not enough unfortunately.

My buddy got tix off of Ticketmaster after the game for $100, I got mine from Stubhub after Donovans 1sr long TD and mine were $210 a piece...Got to love price gouging 🤣

Curious if anyone has noticed the price difference and tiers of Purdue tickets vs UM through the athletic department?
Purdue info:
https://purduesports.com/sports/2022/11/25/fb-big-ten-championship.aspx
TICKET PRICE TICKET LOCATION
$250Lower Level Club
$175Lower Level
$150Lower Level End
The designated Purdue sections that the Hayes Family Athletics Ticket Office will allocate tickets in are the following sections: 101, 102, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 208. 209, 210, 211, 212, 307, 308, 309, 310, 401, 402, 403, 407, 408, 409, 410.
Michigan Info:
Original request was for up to 4 tickets at the $260 or $160 level.
The $160 level is clearly up high (600s) and cost more than the Purdue pricing.
I received 4 at the $210 level which is the 400s.

Interesting margin differences for the athletic department take?!
