Time to Kick Some Sparty Ass, Breslin Style

Submitted by Mike Damone on March 7th, 2021 at 2:47 AM

Will acknowledge that I have had a cocktail or two this evening.  But would say the same thing sober.

Some of my best friends are Spartys, and the ladies there have always been attractive, friendly and willing.  But it doesn't take Juwan showing a Draymond Green video for me to despise their team and overall hoops program.

Their team this year is a bunch of underachieving zeros.  Izzo is past his prime and needs to go hang w Mork in some shithole senior citizens bar and tell boring stories about their glory days.

Duke is in the NIT waiting for their Sparty rematch.  We need to kick the living shit out of them in Breslin and knock them off the bubble.

This is our year w an energetic, fun and talented team!  No room for whiny Izzo and his shitty team on the big stage.  Screw Sparty - and Go Blue!!!

A Michigan win at the Breslin would be a nice way to send out their senior class.

I remember in 2000 when Tim kept his seniors in until the end of the game when they won 114-63.

I know it was their last game, but a respect was not shown that day. Usually you bring out your best players when you are winning big.

Another blowout by Michigan today would be nice.

OK, off to work I go.

its a sin, particularly on a sunday, to think of izzo as an angry dwarf but there you have it.  we should feel sorry for him because he never got to go on the amusement park rides but instead, where is the compassion in our hearts for his height-challenged life?  we wish to heap ashes on his head and see him tear and render his garments.  about the best i can come up with is an imprecatory prayer that vanquishes sparty and tiny tom.  i need to repent....

There's a guy in my workplace who believes he's 6 feet. (He also claims to have been recruited as a WR by Big 10 schools. This is not supported.)

He's about 5'9". He -- and lots of other people -- don't realize that the average height is about 5'10".

Izzo just looks short.

Average sized people look super short around basketball players.  There's so much better stuff to roast Izzo over like the whining and other facial expressions from the sideline, "weird guys" and "strange lineups", benching Jeron Jackson for Ben Carter and all of the other times he throws his players under the bus during press conferences.

indeed.  if izzo is 5' 9" then i'm 6' 9".  for comparison's sake, see tiny here with beilein. that would make JB about 6' 3"

Tom Izzo calls John Beilein 'great guy' and remembers ...

and now with juwan,

What Opposing Coaches Said About Michigan Wolverines ...

there is no way that izzo is 5' 9".  if juwan straightens up izzo wouldn't come up to his arm pit.

Let's hope the boys are focused and can quickly eliminate the losers of Lansing, regroup, kick ass in the B1G tourney, and then destroy everyone in the Big Dance to give Juwan a NC in his 2nd season as a head coach.

Only one coach seems to have done this in only his 2nd hear as being a HC (with no prior HC experience) and that was Kevin Ollie. Here's the article that breaks down how long it takes a coach to win a NC.

The only one to have done it in his first season ( and he he wasn't even the HC during the regular season) was none other than Michigan's Steve Fisher.

Would be a great way to End Izzo.  Whiny Tim is surely reading the tea leaves about the #1 recruiting class Juwan is bringing in, and years to come of ass-whoopings.  So tired of seeing that little whiner.  End him.

This is true.  Just last week an RCMB title said: 'Izzo - how lucky are we to have this guy?'.  Seriously...  The thread was filled with appreciation for the guy.  Granted, this was not long after they hacked Illinois to death, and they were all still crying that they are the most penalized team in the B1G.

Bury them. Wish lil Foster was part of this. What happened to him? They don’t even mention his name on broadcasts. Is he locked in a cage in Izzo’s basement?

A quick perusal of the RCMB this morning shows them to be a little muted for the last few days.  I've no doubt, though, that the vitriol will ramp up closer to game time.  The mouth breathers will be drunk and voicing opinions like Ayo's.

Finish them.  Mercilessly.

We’re gonna have to play them a third time most likely so they have got to take this game and the next one very seriously. It’s not easy to beat the same team three times in one week no matter how bad that team is. Sparty needs this win to get to the tourney so they will be really hyped up. Just win the game and BEAT STATE!
