Truth is, OSU probably has a decent shot of making the playoffs if TCU or USC falls this weekend.

But I agree with their fans and an 11Warriors poll that I am not interested in watching the Buckeyes play in the Rose Bowl again.  Stroud is likely to bail on the game and Henderson is likely to be out indefinitely after disclosing that he played part of the season with torn ligaments and a broken bone in his foot.

I've thought this for sometime now, this Michigan team can beat anyone in the country. We as a fan base secretly wished that to be true but needed Saturday's performance to really confirm our  belief. We beat both our rivals by the same scoring margin and nobody is suggesting that OSU deserves to get in based on their play.

I think Joel Klatt has it correctly pegged when he says that Michigan could be the best team in the country this year. Still have to beat Georgia to prove it, because you know the committee still wants to put two SEC teams in the top four no matter what.

The committee has schemed its rankings to place Alabama with 2 losses to replace Tennessee and LSU playoff possibilities if chaos ensues. LSU has no shot with 3 losses but the Tide could still slip in, a move that would cement complete failure of playoff football by committee.

Michigan now owns the best two victories on the season while Alabama has beaten no team currently ranked in the Top 10. Think about that and their current ranking.

Ohio State's stupid fan base has misplaced anxiety in the wake of losing big Saturday when, in fact, their season could still be salvaged.

But nobody's suggesting Alabama should get in over Michigan. The question is, should they get in over (what would be) a one-loss TCU team, or a one-loss Ohio State team? I hope not -- but honestly, that's mainly because I think we have a better chance against TCU, if we have to play them, than we do against Alabama.

I don't think I'm alone. In fact, although nobody says it, I think the "anger" many people claim to be feeling about the possibility that Alabama will get in is because, deep down, we think they may be better than TCU, and we don't want to play them.

I don't care how many SEC teams get in ... or how many Pac 12 teams get in, or how many Big 12 teams get in ... as long as Michigan's in -- ideally, with a winnable game.

(Obviously, I think we can beat anyone. But there's nothing wrong with evaluating other teams based on their quality, and I'd just as soon avoid ... well, Georgia and Alabama, honestly. To me, USC and Ohio State are about even, and I'd just as soon skip them as well. Bring on TCU!)

Also ... what do you mean, Michigan owns "the best two victories on the season"? What's the second? Are you including Penn State? Illinois? Colorado State?

I'm not even sure you can say we've got the best ONE win of the season. What was Tennessee ranked when Georgia thumped them? And Utah beat USC, which is now ranked ahead of Ohio State.

(I'm just being contrary, of course. Our win over OSU was fantastic. But saying we've got "the best two victories of the season" is nonsensical.)

Ummm he is saying that UM has the 2 best victories of the season, meaning they have beaten 2 teams that are, at this moment (ie the end of the regular season), the highest 2 ranked teams any team has beaten. Which makes complete sense. Who gives a shit what a team was ranked weeks ago.

And your examples are both 1 team victories, 2 is more than 1, math is fundamental. So the UM has the best 1 win (dominating osu), and the best 2 wins (osu + psu,  whom UM also dominated).  BtW, Utah won by 1 point,  UM won by 22 on the road. Of course,  you're just trolling and got me caught up, so well done, I guess.

Trouncing an 11-0, #2 team on the road by 22 points is better than any other win this season - better than Georgia winning at home against UT by 14, or Utah winning at home against SC by one.

To also destroy a PSU team that was 5-0 at the time and is now 10-2 gives us the best pair of wins in the country.  Georgia comes the closest with its wins over UT and Oregon, but both games were in their home state and UO ended up with three losses.

And even if they do lose, as long as it isn't a blowout, I wouldn't be surprised if they made it anyway.

Both teams played the team they are facing once. TCU won and USC lost a close game. Playing an extra game that OSU isn't playing and losing a close one shouldn't put that team behind OSU.

And Alabama may as well be ranked 100th for all the chance they have of getting in.

Only way OSU gets in is if USC loses. I think TCU is in regardless. It’ll be interesting however what the committee will do with rankings if TCU and USC lose. I highly doubt they’d want another OSU/Michigan matchup in the Fiesta Bowl, but also TCU would need to move down to 4

I've thought this for sometime now, this Michigan team can beat anyone in the country

I think we can as well. Our defense and OL has proven themselves against basically everyone. And if you want to stop the run, JJ has shown he can make you pay. UGA is also not the team they were last year. They’ve taken a step back in basically every conceivable way

More obvious indicators of delusion aside…

they keep on about how Knowles let them down. Was this a surprise to them? Were they not watching the entire nut head season? They just now figured out his defense “ain’t it”? Have they seen a good defense before?

It was the exact same result, except now we're all one year closer to death.

We have broken them.

Their shining temple of twenty years of dominance collapsed in two rainstorms, like it never existed.

Meyer and Tressel. Both as crooked as the day is long. Their culture is not only bereft of integrity, but in large part defined by that lack.

Day looks to be outmatched against Harbaugh but he also might just not be “win at all costs” enough for the nut heads. Based on what I’ve heard out of cbus, he’s actually a nice guy. Not the lying car salesman nice of his predecessors, but apparently sincerely so. If true, that’s going to create tension between himself and the people around him - from the totally self-interested players to the Harkonnen-style administration of the institution itself to the rabid, spoiled fans with their cult-like mentality.

The Buckeyes under Ryan Day are good, occasionally very good, but the reason why The Game means so much (aside from the latent hatred that gives our lives meaning) is that Michigan is the gatekeeper to the postseason.

For their sakes, I hope this is hyperbole, or an overblown reaction after a tough loss. If latent hatred gives your life meaning, you have a lot more problems than a football game. Like, if you are in that spot, get some help... Just a terrible and toxic way to live.

"This Is Has Been A Long Time Coming" is actually a bolded bullet/headline at the start of a section. Even their bloggers can't grammar well. I'd also love to know where the "obvious talent disparity" is. Yes, they have starz galore, but I didn't see any actual physical/literal talent disparity. Their QB dropped a few dimes. Their freak WR made a couple plays. We beat that ass down our best offensive player and our best defensive lineman. Eleven Warriors is probably the best OSU blog and it would be bottom of the barrel in Michigan. Mgoblog is far more realistic and attempts objectivity in analysis. Eleven "Angel Soft" Warriors is blind homerist swill.

Arrrrrggg I just  visited that place for the first time. I'm never going back. They are as advertised. I am really happy we beat them as soundly as we did.  Damn it's ugly over there.....
