Is there a worse ap than Peacock? If so, I’ve never used it.

Started the game 30 minutes late on Roku.  Four times it’s rebooted itself and each time it reverts to real time.  Can’t control the fast forward speed and if you use the 10 second ff feature it lags then implements multiple 10 second ff’s all at once.  Won’t let you see where you are when fast forwarding or rewinding so you have to do it blind and hope. Then it spools endlessly while it tries vainly to catch it self back up.

Other than that it’s freaking awesome.  Worth every penny of the $2.00 I spent on it.

Just watched a game in 4k on 85" TV with surround sound and not a single issue. $2.50? Sure here you go. Could it be better? Sure, go check out fox and CBS right now. Not any better. We were never getting good announcers for this game regardless of the network. Yall complaining need to upgrade your TVs and internet.

Haha.  Thanks.  Just change your internet.  I live in a top 10 city population wise and my internet options are - 2.  Unless I want satellite internet, which I don't.  I'm not sure how many cables you have going into your house/apartment but I do data infrastructure for a living and have a pretty good guess.

I have DirecTV - so watching Fox is not an option right now because they are in there 4x/yr pissing match with some channel which seems to last weeks.  If you tune in to Fox it says you can stream the channel on Peacock....nope.

All in all the video wasn't bad but less than.  I fed it HDMI from laptop and there was a while in the 1st half where a tool bar was on the bottom of my tv which I thought was my bad but wasn't.  It was gone in the 2nd half.  Also gone was the audio feed from the announcers for a few minutes in the 2nd qtr?  Yeah, Peacock - don't be proud.  I was content to not fuck with anything the whole game as it was working so - rewind was not an option even if it was.  If they decided not to show a replay - like the offensive encroachment penalty on Michigan - which is a new one, you never got to see what happened.

I'm gonna be hearing the 'coverage will resume' music in my nightmares all the way thru the fall. Also- I'm watching the game at my mom's house- I told her I'd buy her a new TV if the three posters for 'stream this next' images get burned into her screen.

My only issue on a Roku tv is that the left and right sides of the screen are split in the middle by a line and they are at different heights.

Great on Apple TV. The stream went to 1080p and stereo a couple of times. But recovered both times. Love the 4K and surround sound. I think it was a great presentation.

Tech companies have figured out that they don't have any real competition, so they're going to put out the worst possible product that fits the description of what they're trying to do. I'd rather chop off my own head and launch it into outer space via trebuchet than pay Comcast (owner of NBC/Peacock) anything.

Essentially, everything on the internet is worse than it was 10 years ago, this place obviously excluded.

Well they got 100+ K people to sign up a spend money, so it doesn't matter after the fact. They made their millions.

As long as people keep paying for crap, things will keep being crap.

I had absolutely no issues with Peacock at all, not one freeze, no audio issues and a beautiful picture. Sorry so many others had issues.

I continually had time warps where the game would just go back 3 seconds. Had enough of it and turned it off during garbage time. Thumbs down.

Lol fg attempt at last second means ....., wrong thread, not impressed with Peacock but I am thankful got to see the game on TV.  Like Mike Tirico and liked the high def. picture.  Went out twice on us. Probably the worst targeting analysis I ever heard from Terry and Simms, both of whom apparently could not see the launch up into JJ's head and neck even on replay.

downloaded the app to my tv and it was a horrible streaming experience with the picture freezing all the time.  I had to watch on my computer instead and it worked just fine. If I could give lower than 1* review I would.

Yeah, this part is really annoying.  Crazy that we have to put up with that.

Peacock worked and looked great for me today.  The Fox app stuttered and did not look great during MSU last night, and when I went back to Colorado/TCU, it was more of the same.

Did anyone else get the commercial break with 10 commercials, then come back to 3rd down sometime in the first quarter?

this amongst many of the other issues…

It's garbage no doubt. I get it for free with Xfinity internet. And I am still paying too much. I didn't have any troubles watching the game. But I also have 1.2 GB speed. Not sure if that is the problem for others? But it is not the most user friendly app and I can see where people would go nuts. If I had to watch every game of the season on this app no doubt I would be looking for alternatives.

Slow to load, but….

I have had Peacock for the Premier League for over a year.  Have watched a handful of TV on it (I couldnt stomach too much of Ted Lasso… too creepy happy and silly). Now watched us today. I use a Roku stick cuz my smart TV is not smart enuf I guess.

It hS always worked fine for me. Never rebooted, image is crisp, etc.

Worked great for me. Peacock app on a Sony tv using wifi. No issues at all. Picture was crystal clear.

the “coverage will resume shortly” music was the only really annoying thing I noticed.

Yeah, this sounds like an Ohio boonies tech lag issue.

Excellent picture and sound quality. Announcers were fine, tirico a bit of a homer which I like, and graphics unobtrusive.

SmarTV with peacock app accessed via wireless router was seamless and easy.

I actually preferred it to DirecTV + normal network scenario.

Only drawback was flipping between games not as intuitive, but DVRd Colorado game which I’ll fire up soon.

I'm used to watching all the games on Youtube TV, where I can jump skip through commercials, go forward and back easily, etc.

Compared to that, watching it on Peacock was horrible.  Because you can't skips ads, and the functionality for skipping forward and backward is lame compared to Youtube TV.

Some of the golf swing analysis apps are pretty awful — I think worse than Peacock — but as you say in your post you may not have used those.
