Honestly I’m looking forward to the more twitchy receivers we have coming on in their second year/first. The big 3 all had issues creating consistent separation and Patterson sure as hell was not going to throw them open

Ohio States best wide receiver is a lowly 3 star ranked almost 400 in the country. Maybe it's actually about the route running and effort that is put in rather than what rank they were in high school. None of their four stars were drafted except Hill, and he got drafted after DPJ.  Remember, Michigan wanted Olave really bad.

Olave wasn’t draft eligible if that’s what you’re saying.  With DPJ going to the NFL too early and now Tarik transferring, clearly the receiver room was in turmoil last year as the rumors have indicated.

What I'm saying is people are hung up on the stars way too much. I think the trio of receivers may have been overhyped and now it's someone else's fault besides theirs. Injuries to Tarik derailed him and DPJ never lived up to his hype. Also, people are always on here talking about OSU's offense, well it got one receiver drafted and that was after DPJ. Maybe their big 3 or 4 were criminally underused as well. Time will tell what Tarik does at Texas and what DPJ does with the Browns but I'm not sold on either being all that.

And they also lost to Maryland a couple of times. It is laughable to try and claim that Texas has better coaching is a fact, Texas has averaged 4-5 losses a year so far under Herman in a weaker conferences than the Big 10. Also a conference where very little defense is played.

Sam Ehlinger is going to be his QB, which most regard as the best QB in the Big 12 for 2020.

The new OC at Texas is Ohio State's QB Mike Turcich.

HC is Tom Herman.
