Thanks for your always interesting National Day posts Chatster.  

There was a thread posted on this but for those who missed it astronomers recently captured the first ever image of a black hole using some very creative techniques and software.

The top is the actual picture and the bottom is from the movie Interstellar which was a result of a mathematical computer model developed by physicists for the movie.

Speaking of National "events",  I just found out yesterday evening that we're right now celebrating National Concert Week (May 1-7) and because of this, Ticketmaster Live Nation is offering concert tickets all over the USA (and also several other countries, too) for just $20, I including all fees.

Guess who bought tickets to go see The Who in Grand Rapids this coming Tuesday?!

last weekend on UM sports/event calendar for me - - first invitational at the new outdoor track today, Athletes Commencement tonight,  commencenment in the big house tomorrow (hoping for good weather and a non-political spreach from Governor Whitmer). Maybe the women's lacrosse can win in the B1G tourney and host for the NCAA's and I get a bonus game.

At work today...  Certainly not a full day, though!  Have a cantankerous tractor at home that wants some TLC, and an 8 yr old that wants some Kings Dominion time.  WEEKEND!!!

Ha!!  Know what I tell co-workers?  The best thing about Fridays is that there are only two days left until Monday!

Insert day of week and appropriate number of days left to Monday, and you can use it all week long!  It never fails to generate priceless looks of confusion, contempt, and stunned amusement - all at the same time...
