We're hoping for a game winning drive by Baker after a crap call keeps the drive alive for Seattle to tie the game. Detroit and the fudge packers will follow.

It doesn't take a genius to know what was going to happen. And if it wasn't going to happen there, it was going to happen at Lambeau.

Why? Loins. That's why.

Fuck me.  The one time in 100 years I get to watch a Lions game that might actually mean something, and the Rams fuck it all up.

Great year for the Lions, by Lions standards.  Hoping they have another draft like the last one...

Great year for the Lions

100%

I've been disappointed by on the Lions for most of my time on this rock.  But they are trending in the right direction.

Lions unfortunately pissed away 3-4 games that very easily could have been wins this season.

Goff looked great this season.  Running game was solid all season long.  Just need to bolster the D a bit and this is a playoff team next year.

I fucking <3 me some MCDC too.

Plus the Lions didn't embarrass themselves post Hard Knocks.

... and DROY for Hutch!

That’s what happens when you leave your fate in someone else’s hands.

Lions have a lot to be proud of for the progress they showed this year. They’re clearly heading in the right direction and for 2023 they are legitimate playoff contenders. But that’s why you take care of your business when you have the opportunity to do so. Hoping someone else can help you get where you need to go is a recipe for getting burned.

But there’s still something to play for tonight. If you can’t go, take Rodgers down with you. That’ll feel damn good taking that into the off-season.

Well, I guess if anyone would have them revved up for the Pack regardless of playoffs, it's Campbell. He's probably going to throw the kitchen sink at them.

Intriguing question for fellow Lions fans at least making tonight's game somewhat interesting.

Would you rather move up from 18 to 15 in this year's NFL draft by losing.....

or fuck Aaron Rogers by winning?

Beat the Packers and don't worry about the draft spot.  This isn't like the NBA; there are enough good players at positions of need that dropping a couple of spots in the teens won't materially alter your draft options.  And screwing the Packers out of the playoffs feels right cosmically.

Well I was going to use up some of my saved up energy and excitement that was reserved for tomorrow (10 days ago) and treat tonight like a consolation for no excitement tomorrow. Instead I’ll be in bed before halftime.

Why am I a sports fan again?

Here are the rules. You have to do 10 push ups every time:

  1. the Lions get hosed by the refs;
  2. there's a hyperbolic statement about the greatness of Rodgers;
  3. Tirico and Collinsworth root for the Packers to win.
  4. (edit) Rodgers complains to the refs.

Does anyone here have the stamina to make it through the game?

Anyone else hate the fact that the season is 17 fucking games?

What an awful number. This week should be the wild card round. Instead we get this shit.
