SPONSORED: Per DraftKings, Michigan is currently +450 to win the National Championship…Iowa is +2000. Where would you place your bet?

Michigan currently has third best odds, with only Baylor (+250) and Gonzaga (+275) ahead of them. That team in Columbus sits behind Michigan at +1100, and the green guys in East Lansing are at +15000 (yikes…). What’s your favorite future bet from DraftKings?

Teams with better odds than msu to win the national championship include Drake, Belmont, Utah State, and Saint Louis.

That said, if I were a betting man, I'd clearly bet on Michigan.

It is very interesting that Baylor has better odds than Gonzaga.  That is clearly .... stupid?  IMO, Gonzaga is the best team in college basketball, and Michigan is the 2nd best.  But the guys that set these odds up are a little smarter than i am, so what the fuck am i missing?

Gonzaga is better than last year's team that we smoked by double digits. We are way better than last year's team as well.

Baylor is really good but their success might be a byproduct of their conference.

We'll be more battle tested than anyone going into the tournament, especially Gonzaga and Baylor.

I like our chances against anyone.

I have to ask, have you watched Baylor? I don't mean for that to come off as snarky, but I feel like a lot of the opinions about Baylor being overrated are due to them not being a traditional power. The truth is, they are very, very good. Butler will be a deserved first team All-American, they then add in 3 other veteran guards who all could go off at any time, and then fill in with 3 or 4 big guys who defend every possession like their life depended on it.

I'm not saying they are clearly better than Michigan or Gonzaga, the truth is all of these teams can beat each other on any night. But saying that it is "stupid" to put them on a level better than Gonzaga is misguided. I think there is a valid argument to be made if people wanted to go that way.

I was able to get Michigan at +1200 a couple of months ago.  I admit I also put a little on Gonzaga at +300.

Legal gambling has increased my knowledge of college basketball teams significantly.  Can’t wait for the tournament!

I would light my dollar bills on fire and bask in the radiant if brief warmth on a cold winter night.

Better odds than my chances of picking a winner betting sports.

I have plenty of vices, but gambling isn't one of them. To me the value of sports betting odds is that they are probably the most accurate predictor of what is truly going to happen, simply because it is completely unbiased and dispassionate. The bookmakers don't care who wins, and neither does a majority of the bettors. I guess you could argue that a large amount of "homer" money on any individual game could sway the line a bit, but not much.

I'm glad that they think our football program will improve tremendously this year and that Gonzaga decided to restart their program for the first time in decades.

I'll take whatever you call the bet that will win me a lot of money

On August 1st I put $20 on us to "win the most games in the B1G" at 11-1...Covid might screw me on that. But then on December 29 I put $50 on us to win it all at 45-1 ($2250)....GO BLUE BABY!!

This is clearly a correct answer, though I am enjoying putting a few dollars on the teams I want to lose as a happiness hedge. I can put as much on our opponents as I'd be willing to pay for a win, and if we don't at least I'm paid for my trauma, lol.
