...then I thought...who is really a better player than Gary? Can't wait to see him and Hurst go this year. On a side note...I saw Da'Shawn Hand at #38...and wondered what this line could have lookded like with him in the mix too!

LSU and Oklahoma team's to see examples of non-starting RBs that would have easily made the top 100 players in the country. And there are plenty of past examples of frosh RBs making an early and meaningful impact. I'm not denying that SI's quality may have dropped in recent years. But this isn't an example of it.

These predictive lists about how good players will be are more ridiculous than preseason rankings. Lots of guesswork and hype.
