That's fine. People want to shit on Hoke, and he obviously wasn't the long term solution... But let's not act like he accomplished nothing in his 3 seasons as HC. He convinced Denard to stay, which was crucial to going 11-2, beating ND/OSU and winning a Sugar Bowl we had no business winning. He was a plus recruiter, which is a big reason why Harbaugh's first 2 seasons had the potential they did and many of those players are already in, or headed to the NFL, and he loved Michigan. Also, the username isn't just a nod to Hoke. There's Bo, Lloyd and Harbaugh in there too.

Good thing you felt the need to respond to something or someone you disagree with in a tone that clearly is intended to demean just because you disagree. Now I for sure know that you think and feel differently.

Relax, it's the comments section on a sports blog. Offering your opinion or pov is kind of the point.

It's definitely common practice these days, but why do you have to choose one extreme or the other? Not everything is black and white; It is, in fact, okay to have multiple opinions.

I will remember the 2016 team for the rest of my life and am so proud of them, but I have no problem admitting that they underachieved. I would be willing to bet that quite a few others share this opinion.

My apologies if I made it sound like it had to be black or white or that there weren't any people out there who were proud of the team despite their shortcomings. I was only speaking on the ones who choose to solely focus on the negative. Or if you hadn't actually watched the games, you'd think that the team got ran off the field in those losses and didn't play well enough to win on those occasions. I'm aware that it wasn't JUST bad luck or a series of unfortunate events that caused them to lose to Iowa, OSU and FSU. At Iowa, the safety was basically the turning point of the game, and that was completely on the offense for not executing well enough to muster a yard or two. At The Shoe, the game should have been put away much earlier. The 2nd INT was on Speight, and the fumble on the GL was on Speight and Likely Cole. The first 3 quarters in the Orange Bowl was just a case of one team clearly outplaying the other. All of that said, they still played well enough to win and had some pretty crappy luck or things happen to them from doing so. Many will chalk it up to, or say "Well, that's football!" But most of those things don't happen in games on a regular basis. Anyway, I was just trying to convey a different take on it all, a positive outlook. That's all.

"Pissed" is a bit of a stretch. Yes, I hate that so many people felt that way, and I offered a different perspective, maybe through Maize colored glasses. As you can see, plenty of people let me know that they disagreed with my opinion and how I conveyed it as well. And that's ok. This is a sports blog. It's for entertainment purposes. A way to escape the reality and monotony of every day life in some ways. I don't take any of it too seriously. Younger me used to get very upset and allowed the end results to games and seasons impact my happiness, or lack thereof as it were. Then I got older and had kids of my own and realized I had zero control over what happened when 17-24 year old kids did while playing a game. Once that happened, I learned to appreciate each game and season for what it was. I still am an avid sports fan and have highs and lows just like anyone else. They just don't last nearly as long as they used to. Sometimes the best team doesn't always win a particular game, or the championship for that matter. For example, Clemson winning it all this year. They escaped a lot of games in a weak conference that just as easily could have ended up like our losses did. And I think if they play Bama 10 times, the Tide probably win at least 7 of them. The Pats lost to Seattle and Buffalo this season. The Falcons are an 11-5 team with some pretty bad losses on their résumé. GS went 73-9 and blew a 3-1 lead. Still doesn't mean a team isn't a very good, championship caliber team that had a season worth being proud of.

May I suggest you redirect some of your time and energy into finding a job?  Perhaps a D-Line Coaching job to get you out of the house, blow off some steam and start rebuilting your resume?
