It's time for your official score predictions for the game this Saturday. I will go with 20-10, the good guys win.

I get that being Debbie Downer is kind of your thing, but MSU almost lost to Rutgers.  And Purdue.

I think your "oh no we suck again" PTSD is flaring up again.

Wow, you're a wimp. Nothing either of these teams have shown this year justify that score. I'll be looking for your posts after the game once that score is flipped.

I was honestly thinking along those lines, maybe Sparty 17, UM 10.

I'm still spooked about our offense and I have bad feeling we're going to see about sixty intermediate-range passes from Cook during the game.

offense does a lot of business in the middle of the field across the middle right where Brian identified our weak spot in the UFR.  With Ross out, if Cook has time, I do anticipate some issues.  We have to get to him and quickly.

Offensively, if they can stop the run and make Rudock beat them it is going to be tough going.  Their secondary is not strong but neither is Rudock some sniper who is going to be flinging it all over the field on them.

I think we will struggle without Ross in the first half and have some issues at linebacker.  I think they will score early and jump out 10-0 or something like that.  I think we will tighten the screws as the game moves on and it going to be a down to the wire beer a minute affair for both fan bases.

Final Score: Michigan 24 Michigan State 23.

Force is very difficult to defend and they play a style that teams do not see that often.  Yes, they are probably a better offensive football team than Michigan.  Top to bottom Michigan has better players on offense but Rutgers has a first round pick at wide receiver.  Michigan has not shown any ability to pass the ball downfield which is theoretically the weakest part of State's defense.  Michigan is certainly a better offensive football team than Purude and Western Michigan.

A blocked xtra point in there for Sparty. Their kicker is a basket case right now. Close game until we get that back breaking score. At that point Sparty just gives up and we get a long drive and tack on a late field goal.
