i can provide further details.  had a 5 day bachelor party down there with most of my football team and it was a gas.  and yes, we fished a bunch.  his place is the center of the universe (imho) for marlin and we've caught sail fish down there too.  we fly fished for marlin also, and that is a wild ride too.

Seem unlikely. It doesn't look like a direct hit to anyone's head, then the marlin snaps off its bill while thrashing around on the deck. No one is still there on the deck.

I was an official observer for a billfish tourament at Oregon Inlet, NC. Got to see several white marlin landed but no big blue marlin on my boat. Fun times though.

Other updates from Sam this morning on WTKA.

Michigan is definitely in the thick of it with Nico still. Sounds more like 50/50, but he did emphasize that his recruitment is not in as good of a standing as it once was. He thinks his in home will re-emphasize the type of offense Michigan will be running in the future, especially with Pep, and how it will be pro-Nico. He almost sounds a little bit less confident than Willie Gay (read below) but still isn't convinced we are trailing - I think the post-in-home visit will help paint the picture as to where Nico may be heading.

He believes that we are the definite favorite to land Oliver Martin - No "gut feeling"

I posted this in the Willie Gay thread, but I will put this quote/paraphrase here (maybe not word for word but close) - "I'm not convinced LSU is the leader for Willie Gay based off my conversation with his mom." He finished up an interview with his mom yesterday, and I think will be having a follow-up today, and it sounds like Michigan has a much better shot than we've been led to believe lately. His mom I know wants him to go to Michigan, but I think this is another 50/50 battle. Between him and Nico, I think we could have some nail-biting finishes come Signing Day.

Jimmy can seal the deal by bringing baby Harbaugh to win over their moms. Pretty sure that's never been done (therefore not yet banned by SEC)

Hell yeah, these guys are relentless.  It's this time of the year where you realize why some coaches prefer the NFL job over college.  Thankfully Harbaugh isn't one of them.  We were all wondering where Mattison was on the last Solomon visit.  Looks like they saved him to be the closer to sell Aubrey on NFL experience now that mama is sold on the university.

Just posted this in the Ballz recruiting thread, but it's probably more relevant here.  It looks like Saban's visit was at Solomon's school this morning.

If Partridge and Mattison are going in-home later today, that would be good news.  There was some chatter earlier in the week that neither Georgia nor Alabama would be given another opportunity to visit Solomon in-home and this would seem to back that up...
