I just read that Saban will be in Najee's living room next Wednesday, no doubt trying to counteract whatever Harbaugh might accomplish this weekend.

  1. Sam's "gut feeling" can be taken as fact.  But in this case, Sam is also being careful not to say "this is happening".  What he's saying is basically, "somebody on the staff thinks we lead."  So the way I read it, it's a fact that at least one staff member thinks we are currently leading for Harris.  Could be that the staff member is incorrect, or it could mean that the staff member is correct, but that Harris changes his mind between now & his final decision.
  2. I want to believe.  Please?
  3. What's awesome about the momentum thing is it helps us get future big time players.  I always wonder how big programs convince high 4 star & 5 star guys come when the depth chart is already loaded at their position.  Potentially they ride bench until they're juniors or seniors--or maybe forever if the team is totally stacked.  But it's NOT hard to convince complimentary high end guys to come in the same class.  So for example, you've got Harris looking at the potential of DPJ coming, some big hogs coming into the O-Line, and also Peters & McCaffrey.  That's a recipe for a monster RB performance if the right combination of guys come together over the 2016/17/18 classes.  Could be very appealing for a guy like Harris.

In my humble epinion, Webb's not going to say he has a gut feeling if a coach THINKS we lead for someone. He's only going to say it if the coach tells him he's a silent or something to the like.

A recruit with this sort of profile isn't one that Sam would toy the fanbase with, I wouldn't think.

I may be way off base but thats how I've taken it.
