Sainristil/AJ Henning
Sainristil apparently was a terrific defender at the high school level. He doesn't strike me as having a huge ceiling at WR. Move him to corner?
WR position is deep and next year it will frankly be overstocked.
The coaches are saying our corners are in a slump...
Is AJ Henning the new Eddie McDoom? Can he run an actual route? If not, can he play corner?

Knew it would be a great post just from the wonderful title.

The posts in the past two weeks have been the worst, by far, in ten years I’ve been reading MGB
November 12th, 2020 at 9:04 AM ^
"Hold my beer," said the next two weeks.

You should have been around during the RichRod years. It was not good shit Jed.

I had my first account banned during the RR years.

Glad I missed that. It was bad enough living in Tallahassee, listening to FSU fans. They don’t talk or laugh much these days.
November 11th, 2020 at 9:55 PM ^
I wonder if Milton could put on some more weight and move over to DT. Worth a shot apparently.
November 11th, 2020 at 9:56 PM ^
The knock on Sainristil coming out of high school was quickness and change of direction. He's not a man corner.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:37 PM ^
Neither are any of our other corners, at this point.
November 11th, 2020 at 9:58 PM ^
Can't we just move Woolfolk from safety to CB. Wait....
November 11th, 2020 at 10:44 PM ^
Never forget.
November 12th, 2020 at 1:59 PM ^
How fast is Bench Mason? He wasn't big enough for DT. Could he play CB? Huh? Whatdathink?
November 11th, 2020 at 10:00 PM ^
Is it offseason? It seems like off-season around here.
It’s going to be a long season/offseason.
November 12th, 2020 at 9:44 PM ^
The last remaining question is whether OSU can hang 100 on Don Brown (in 1 game instead of 2 games).
November 12th, 2020 at 10:37 PM ^
All it takes is 15 TD
November 11th, 2020 at 10:01 PM ^
I'd like to give Ben Mason a shot at cornerback. Of course he's way too slow to play the position but heck, he was way too small to play defensive line last year and that didnt seem to bother anybody so why not give him a shot there too?
And either Moody or Nordin should play corner as well. No team "needs" two placekickers so let's move one to CB. You know the old saying "if you have two placekickers you have no placekickers" so moving one of them kills two birds with one stone.
Lastly the four (or is it five) headed monster we call a running back rotation is driving me insane. Pick two of them to carry the rock and move the rest to cornerback. My thinking is if we have 13, 14 cornerbacks or so on the field somebody is absolutely bound to make a play sooner or later.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:07 PM ^
Sure with 13 or 14 corners on the field, someone is bound to make a play. Unfortunately, DT Milton will have jumped offside and the offense will get a free 5 yards anyway.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:54 PM ^
Flagged: too many men on the field. Ut I'll try anything at this point
November 13th, 2020 at 4:05 PM ^
At least our coaches figured out a way for Milton to get an easy 5 yards.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:11 PM ^
Ben Mason could sure handle the "Press" part of press man coverage
November 11th, 2020 at 10:15 PM ^
He’d press the wrong guy.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:38 PM ^
He'd press the guy straight into Section 66.
November 12th, 2020 at 9:29 AM ^
He plays strictly bench man coverage.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:16 PM ^
Picturing Moody at DB trying to press Olave
November 11th, 2020 at 10:44 PM ^
The good new is he's not fast enough to get close enough to commit PI -- win!
November 12th, 2020 at 8:12 AM ^
Imagine how good Mason would be as a CB when he sets up to stop a run!
November 11th, 2020 at 10:04 PM ^
Our receivers recruited by Harbaugh have almost all been duds at the college level. So much talent brought in with nico, black, peoples-Jones, mcdoom, crawford, hawkins and none of them made significant impact on the college level. We used to have receivers that would help with huge comebacks. Manningham, Edwards, Avant, Arrington, Bellamy, Breaston, Matthews, odoms, round tree, gallon, Hemingway. Even though we didn’t win them all, they all had huge plays on their careers to help us get back in games we were down. My god just reading these two lists and comparing them to Harbaughs receivers is a joke. Where do Harbaugh recruited receivers fit in to this? It’s laughable.More reason why Harbaugh needs to go. Can’t develop an offense to save his life.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:25 PM ^
Stop drinking and buy some Caps.
November 12th, 2020 at 7:31 AM ^
Did you just put Odoms...and Matthews in the same category with Manningham and Edwards? DPJ will always have his Paul Bunyan pose...you're going to see that most likely for the rest of your life and in every single M/MSU hype video.
Also I don't know if WR has been the issue as much as QB play.
November 12th, 2020 at 10:28 AM ^
Well, that was when he threw long passes on outs... we don't do that any longer...
November 11th, 2020 at 10:05 PM ^
I don't see anything wrong with Henning. Hes a freshman that has shown glimpses of being explosive. I'm actually pretty optimistic about his future.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:05 PM ^
Why the fuck would we move a top 100 player from WR to corner, when we have a top 100 player in seldon that hasn't even seen the field yet over the trash we are putting on the field?
November 12th, 2020 at 9:57 AM ^
I think Seldon would have seen the field by now, but there's lots of rumors that he's injured. Couldn't find an official source though
November 11th, 2020 at 10:08 PM ^
Make it stop
November 11th, 2020 at 10:13 PM ^
Uh, AJ Henning might be the most talented WR on the team.
November 11th, 2020 at 11:30 PM ^
His speed is ricockulous that’s for sure.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:15 PM ^
I wish I had the confidence that you have as a poster to have an idiotic thought and post about it as if anyone cares about your said idiotic thought.

In one long sentence, you just summed up the internet.
Except for the porn, of course.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:21 PM ^
I did this on NCAA 14 with current rosters and it totally worked.
November 12th, 2020 at 8:14 AM ^
Then why the hell aren't the coaches doing this???
November 11th, 2020 at 10:24 PM ^

loud noises!

100 years ago we beat Michigan State and Minnesota but lost to Ohio State.....
Here we go again....
November 11th, 2020 at 10:24 PM ^
Those are great ideas, I’m very interested and will read your brochure.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:32 PM ^
Don't know if I dislike the title or the post more.
November 11th, 2020 at 10:34 PM ^
You guuuuuys chill, it’s all part of Harbaugh’s master plan to make OSU so overconfident that they all get good and wasted the night before our game so he can get his first win, retire that night on an OSU victory, introduce our new head coach Matt Campbell and go coach the NY football Jets.
November 12th, 2020 at 8:19 AM ^
So you're saying that he's changing his thinking that many wins in a season that features an OSU loss is now not as good as many losses in a season that features an OSU win? I get it - what's more successful: an 8-1 season, where the L = OSU, or a 1-8 season where the W = OSU?
Poor damn Minnesota... They just had to get in the way of a perfect OPPOSITE season!
November 11th, 2020 at 10:35 PM ^
True freshman receivers usually suck. Give Henning some time.
Regarding Sainristil, it's not the craziest idea.
