Incredible!  What he accomplished in this position switch was special. He is also so freaking intelligent. Having a leader like Sainristil back again should have osu quaking in their velvet boots.

Again, he never said “with them”. He said he will be back on the field better than ever. Did not specify where. And of course his teammates will like it. I’m sure they love and respect him. They aren’t going to say “F that guy, I’m not going to like his post because he might be going somewhere else”.

The rumor has been going to Iowa with Cade. They have no offense and a history of good TEs so it might make a little bit of sense if he feels he wants to go somewhere to be the focal point of the offense. They lost LaPorta. But it would still be surprising considering how close he seemed to be to Harbaugh.

There are circumstances where a transfer may indicate an intractable break with the people you leave, but I think it’s often a business decision only, something that involves people parting on warm terms. There’s more to live than what color helmet you wear for a couple of years in your late teens and early 20s.

Its interesting to me seeing the close relationships some coaches have with players they recruited heavily but never came to their school. Many times they remain close and care about them a great deal, because the personal matters a lot.

All transferring may not have any reflection on his relationships here at all. He may just be seeing the writing on the wall, or feel a bit bogged in the mud.

I share your interest in stories about coaches that continue to have relationships with recruits that go to other schools.  I am sure it happens more often than makes the blogs.  I do believe that coaching is more important and rewarding than winning for most coaches.  Of course, winning is an indicator that you just might be a good coach (but not always).

With respect to All.  I thought he was good enough (fast enough) to #1 when he returns.  I though NIL money would keep him at Michigan.

I had read somewhere that Cade was going to get some good NIL opportunities at Iowa and that they were going to ramp it up some more to bring in some other talent. I know he was trying to lure receivers to come with him, this may be how this works out with All. If he’s not getting NIL money at Michigan and can go play with a quarterback he played with before, while also getting paid, he might take it.

We are talking about Iowa Iowa, right? Like, the place where offense goes to die? (No offense, Cade)

The place from where Chuck Sizzle transferred, then promptly exceeded the total receiving yards of the entire Iowa receiving corps? That Iowa?

<Scratches head as he contemplates All's draft stock plummeting precipitously>

Uh, okay.

I'm not even sure if Louis Hansen is still on the team. I've heard nothing about him at all and haven't seen him play at all either.

And that's with the context that Harbaugh says something about every tight end if he can because he loves the position so much
