The Ryan Day shove of Vincent Grey ala "I gotta little Woody in me"

Saw this in real time and was WTF?  Did I just see that?  So of course I've played it back 25 times and yeah, I saw what I saw.

End of 1st half with :40 left, Henderson direct snap runs to left for about 3yds and Grey and Wilson are out on edge and are in a WR/DB armslength, shoulders only grade school dance.  Henderson tackled then Wilson seems to pull Grey down backwards over the bodies.  Neither had much to do with the play.  Camera cuts away for a moment then cuts back to Day shoving Grey with a look of - if I could stab you in the face I would.  They show a couple slo-mo replays of the play because they were in Chihuahua bark off and commented on the heat of the game.   I know it's not a punch to the esophagus but it shows that Day is the embodiment of Ohio football.

I just pulled it up to watch it. OSU WR held Grey too long on the block. The players got a little scrappy. Day's eyes were not wanting to stab anyone, and the shove was one handed and just enough to keep Grey away from his guy. I'm the last guy who would defend OSU, but this is so, so weak.

I mean, what’s it going to do, motivate Day to try harder? News flash: nothing motivates OSU like losing to Michigan.  It wasn’t disrespectful or over the line in the least.

Besides, that statement contains neither the word The™ nor any Ms.  What’s there for OSU to get upset about?

Mmmm Hmmm

Not worried about this. Let’s talk about the real tragedy here: how will OSU players make rent or pay for tattoos if they don’t get gold pants to sell?

Think of the students!!!1!
