For us East Coasters, that is actually an awesome deal to see Michigan play @ Rutgers.

Single tickets, lower levels without parking are going over $100 a pop on Stubhub.

Can give away the rest of the tickets and you are still ahead.

The losses are cheaper when you buy in bulk!

But seriously, what a steal!! $50 per person for season tickets and parking?

Then again, you pay in other ways than money, namely, with your soul...

EDIT: as others are saying, this is for a single game, not season tickets. Still not a bad deal

You can sample Rutgers near the frozen foods aisle then decide whether or not to buy Rutgers. Alternatively, you can buy a lifetime supply of Kirkland Rutgers.

Rutgers Seating Capacity: 52,454

Rutgers sold 20,057 season tickets in 2021

Rutgers averaged 25,347 tickets scanned per game in 2021, a number that is not considered fully accurate due to technical issues and event staff error.

But the average scan figure for 2019 was 16,366.

Wow that is a ridiculous good deal. Also, I'm not going to hate on them for finding weird ways to move tickets - they are Rutgers. It's still crazy how they've managed to get into a Super 2 League. Also crazy - they've seen their debt increase since joining the Big Ten. Don't really get how that happened but it did.

They've had to do a LOT of facility improvements to come up to B1G standards, even if they don't have the fanbase to support it all.  They also took a loan from the conference when they first joined, but I'm not sure if it's been paid back yet.  The good news for them is that the B1G is still sending money they haven't earned to them each year in the form of TV revenue sharing!

I do think Rutgers has the ability to be a mid-tier FB program under Schiano - especially if divisions disappear - and I think they're women's basketball program can return to success. While I think it was a bad move for the Big Ten (with caveats that I don't know the TV numbers and if PSU was serious about the ACC), I don't think any school has played realignment better than Rutgers. In 1980 they'd have been considered FCS. In 1990, mid major. Somehow they jumped into the Big East, and despite struggling and being left behind by the ACC, they managed their way into one of the 2 super leagues.

And all this while being ranked in the final AP poll just 4 times in 86 seasons of the poll's existence. I'm incredibly annoyed they exist in our league, I feel like their AD has been mismanaged - but they've managed to fail upwards for no apparent reason other than they decided to in 1980 and they're in New Jersey.

Also as an aside - Maryland used to be a pretty good ACC school, a basketball power and a school that could sneak up on VT or FSU for a scare. Now they're...Rutgers' partner. I know the finances make a ton of sense for them but their reputation took a hit by joining the Big Ten, ironically.

Honestly, not going to get on them too hard for this.  It's a team that needs to get butts in seats and if they offered this deal on their website nobody would bat an eye.

They should sell these in more places. You could stop on the Garden State Parkway at the Jon Bon Jovi/Cheesequake service plaza and buy Rutgers tickets from the guy who pumps your gas.

1. First of all, we sold ours with a coke. So lets calm down.

2. Its not a bad idea for a team that struggles to fill its own stands.

3. Costco quality of product has gone downhill badly.
