Rudock now #1 for passing TD's in one game

I'm hoping Rudock is finding his zen because he was on tonight. It wasn't just guys ridiculously wide open but he was actually zinging them in there.
The Michigan fan in me assumes it's just because it's Rutgers and IU (and I'm sure part of it is) but I dunno...looks like he's settling in

Rudock threw a long pass dead on the money. That is the best development of all. That is a great weapon if teams are going to continue to sell out on the run. He is finally good enough to make them pay for it. It bodes well for the rest of the season.

Darboh dropped one that was basically perfect and that was a 50 yarder

I agree. Rudock wasn't a statue. Rudock took almost everything the defense gave him.
I was a little disappointed with the 1 interception, but if you through 6 TDs to 1 INT I'll take that against every single team in CFB, in any year, in any week. That was INSANE!.
I'm so glad Rudock took this game and put the team on his shoulders and said "No. We refuse to lose."

What's weird is I was just looking at the records yesterday and saw that the TD record for QBs in a game was a bunch of guys at 4.
Rudock has earned it...that's what pissed me off to no end early in the year. The guy got no spring or summer reps with this team. But you could just see if you actually paid attention...he was a solid QB. I'm not going to go overboard. He's not winning a Heisman...but he can lead this team to a B1G championship.

I guess you missed the game today. We aren't sniffing the championship game, and right now I don't see us beating Penn State.

Right now, we're one Glasgow away from having the right to feel great about our chances against OSU. Even thugh we don't have that Glasgow, I feel great about our chances against PSU and good (not great) about OSU. That's still a nice place to be in at that point in the season!

Outstanding. Thank goodness for them tonight.

Any stat in OT gets an asterisk, either literally or figuratively.

I gotta say it--I don't know how the record was 4. That's simply crazy considering the number of 40-60 point wins this program has had over the decades.

I was surprised too. Let's chalk it up to a lot of rushing TD's by Denard and Devin!

His late slide to insure a first down was gutzy move.

Darboh 8 rec, 109 yrds & 1TD
Butt 7 rec, 82 yrds & 1 TD
Sure hope they step up next week

Thank goodness for our passing game. All else was WTF

I wondered what would happen if the offense needed to be the driving force behind a win and I suppose they can handle it. I doubt we are celebrating a win if this was one year ago and Hoke was the coach. Michigan would have not been mentally tough enough to win.

Well, earlier in the year he was missing those. Granted it was due to not having the timing with the receivers but it still was frustrating.
As for Hoke, we're probably 4-6 with Hoke this year at best and I struggle to find those 4. UNLV and Oregon State (maybe). Not sure the others.

TDs, not TD's.
"TD's" is possessive, though a touchdown cannot possess anything. "TDs" is plural.

You have nothing better to do after a win like that than play internet grammar cop?

It’s permissible to use apostrophes for plural two- or three-character acronyms or initialisms.

there were more than 4 Tds in the Braylen UTL game.
I am happy for Jake. I have been a strong critic all year. I didn't think he would be good enough to win a game for us, but he has been on fire the last 3 games. He is getting better and I like it.

I still think that overtime stats should be listed as overtime stats & not counted in the season/game totals. You can't compare OT states with regulation stats.
Not taking anything away from Rudock or anybody else... OT just isn't the same rules.
