Possible NCAA violation committed?

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on June 29th, 2019 at 10:44 AM

AJ received this cool MICHIGAN sign as a gift for his commitment from the Cullian Family, who are Michigan Alums! How cool! The power of the 〽️!

WD,

in your mind what good could possibly come of this post?   There were only three likely scenarios

1. The most likely (and seemingly true).   It was a family friend.    No violation but you bring extra attention to it and almost definitely extra grief on twitter.

2. It actually was a booster but it was going to fly under the radar but for the extra attention you brought to it.

3. It actually was a violation that we were going to get nailed for in some way regardless of what you did.   We would probably have had a post about it, just at a later date so the only thing you would accomplish is creating the spector that your post is what brought attention to it.

under any circumstances, the post isn’t good for AJ, the board or you.

Maybe it is time to step away from Mgoblog again?

Read a book.

Go to the pool.

Go to the gym.

Learn a new recipe.

Work on improving relationships with those who matter most to you.

Call one or both of your parents and tell them you love them.

Take your kids to the park or on a hike.

Research a cool new place to go on your next vacation.

Start a remodeling project in your home.

Do some laundry.

There, I just gave you a list of ten better things you can do that doesn't include posting insane bullshit like this.

WD you really went out of your way on this one.  What were you thinking when you posted it?  Hmmmm, this ought to boost the morale of the fanbase a possible NCAA violation that (I) noticed.  Please share with all of your friends and all of their social media accounts?  Yeah no thanks.  Miss me with that one!

While this is stupid, the NCAA does tend to treat Michigan like an unwanted step child while other programs get away with rape, abuse and blatant cheating.

I'm normally a WD defender. He's a little strange but how can you not appreciate his passion. This however, is the absolute worst post of all time. Wonder if it's a violation if you will. Do your own Google investigation if you want. Even send the family a friendly private message, stating that they may want to be careful. But drawing attention to this on social media as a Michigan supporter is idiodic. I'm sure the family feels really welcomed knowing that our own supporters will call them out on the internet.

Call them out? My God, the vitriol and slippery slopes of you folks is Mystery Science worthy viewing. There’s always a dozen dillweeds to shit on a fan for asking an honest question— and the victim-making complexes. Are y’all really afraid the NCAA is gonna to penalize the kid when Laquon Treadwell posed with his bag years ago?

And if you really think this is t a violation the simplest thing is to say no, but you’d rather post a dozen times about how a guy is stupid? BFWofT.

I think it's a valid question since a sqeaky clean school is involved. Buy..I don't know the answer. I do agree with the prior relationship thought.

Well, for one, fuck the NCAA.  If those assholes couldn't bring themselves to give Penn State the death penalty for running child sexual assault program, nobody deserves any kind of violation slapped on them.

Mitchell Melton is trending towards Ohio St at the moment. My guess is that we are done at linebacker unless they are projecting Moten to play there. I assumed safety for him.
