Peppers post game interview

Peppers is the heart of this team and for the guys who said this was planned for him not to play, shame on you, you should feel really bad right now to question Peppers character like that. If Peppers should go to the NFL he should go down as one of Michigan's all time greats, throughout his time here at Michigan all we heard about was how he was the hardest working man everyday, he truly loves Michigan and his teammates. there were trolls on here saying he had planned to sit and fake an injury, meaning they knew because he went around telling people he would fake an injury to sit rather than tell people he would sit to protect himself for the draft.

It amazes me how bad at logic conspiracy theoriest are. That, or that people spend time slandering people with fake news.

That people are idiots. Why people have to try so hard to find reasons to be critical is beyond me. Now, I have heard that the only way to rehab a hamstring is to play college football for a season.

True.  From what I have seen in his NCAA career to date, he had the potential to be the greatest player at UM (and still could if he returns).  However, he doesn't have much in terms of the highlight events and statistics to back that up (especially interceptions considering he was a LB).  Unfortunately, this may end up being one of those "what might have been" situations.

Fair or not, the players considered all time greats at Michigan are those whose teams won Big 10 Championships. Jabrill has been a great player, but the teams he's been a member of haven't finished better than third in the B10 East and has won a single Citrus Bowl.

Denard Robinson suffers similarly, with his teams finishing second in the East twice and winning a Sugar Bowl.... though in his case, he owns a number of offensive individual school and BIg 10 records.

This isn't to take anything away from either of them, but as the years fade, I don't believe either will be spoken of in the sense of the Michigan "all time greats" as things stand now... though Jabrill could return and change that!

There was a lot of interesting things being said.  I'm not into spreading rumors but Pep was not the only player who got hurt during bowl prep practices. Darboah was 75% at best.  JH has to be questioning going that hard, and my bet is he will change it up next year.  Additionally, Sam heard the same things that I was hearing at tailgate, that Pep is truly 50/50 to return.  There are multiple players other than Spy who have been informed they will not be receiving a scholly next year.

I trust in JH, and like previously stated I don't think we realize he did not inherit a great team, and this takes time.  Lastly, TONS of Peters chatter; a bunch of the players formed a basketball team intramural or whatever, and they said he is a freak athlete who was tomahawk dunking and fast.

This will take time for sure I want to see Harbaughs Srs and how they will finish their careers at Michigan. What they will take with them to the NFL? Like how many B1G championships and National Championships? Lets face it, this team played its way to 3rd in the East. It's a shame the way it worked out so close but so far. Losing three games by a total of 8 points. Yeah 8 points. 2 for Iowa to win. 2 for the Orange. 4 for OSU.

Care to make a friendly wager on it? haha. I wish he was coming back but he isn't and I think that would be easy money. Yes, I am aware of what he said and what "insiders" are saying about 50/50. I also have been watching this shit for years and some actions are great leading indicators for declaring for the draft and that hasn't changed.

So incredibly annoying when people point to one instance and claim it's a reason not to do something. Yes Butt got hurt, but whether he did or not doesn't change anything. Coming back you may get hurt, or you may not, Butt didn't change the future for anyone. If money is all you care about go to the NFL. If you want to be immortalized and be far larger than anything money can buy, come back to Michigan. Harbuagh made that choice, Jabrill can make it also.

Ah yes, I completely misunderstood you. I think we all wish he would've made some game changing plays against OSU. He didn't. Very disappointing for a guy who's initial goal was to win a heisman as a freshman. He's got to come back. Good player for Michigan but not yet great. If he only cares about his financial future he'll go pro. If he cares about his collegiate career and legacy he'll come back.

He was awesome against MSU in 2015.

This year he had a crucial sack against MSU and had a big time tackle for loss when they were in the redzone where he dodged an OL, took on a FB and still made the tackle.

Against OSU he had the pick.

If you're going to knock him for those games. Don't give credit to JD Lewis (who also made plays and had big games).

Very competitive guy I think; very athletic, good player, but not an all-time great if he leaves now. Not really even close. I'm not 100% sure he couldn't have played; possibly why Jim told him to go to the press box. Just my opinion. I wish the best for him; good luck in the NFL!

As others said, there were quite a few people on Twitter questioning Peppers' character over this essentially, and I dare say those people who were saying such things should feel like what they are - clueless fans and generally shitty people. The problem with the online world is, of course, they will find flimsy validation in something.
