Genius is a bit much.  He is going to be an OC after 2 years here, in a program where the HC might be canned in a year.

As for this Pep thing - if it was to OSU everyone would be mocking how Urban is pulling from a sad sack franchise.  But since it's Harbaugh it's a fantastic move and forget how Cleveland is doing, it's all about the guy etc etc.  Like anything the truth is in the middle somewhere.

Most important is, is Pep an upgrade or at least wash to Fisch.  And I will continue to say on offense at least as long as Harbaugh is here that's who matters by far esp as far as "QB development".

Cleveland is a shit organization whose name and team colors are the color of shit.

They can't assess player talent. They can't assess coaching talent.

More likely that Pep Hamilton is a diamond in the rough who just got thrown a miracle life preserver by Harbaugh, a man who KNOWS how to assess coaching/player talent, rather than Cleveland thrilled to be shed of the one guy in the organization who has been holding them back the better part of a century.

He was #4...but a 5 star player and top-30 in the country. So same premise - your point stands. (I just went back and looked at all of our RBs for a post about how ***** ****** would be different because he's the #1 RB AND more importantly the #1 PLAYER in the country - he's completely different from Green, Isaac, Grady)

On WTKA yesterday, Marcus Ray was trying to make a point similar to this by saying it is unfair to give Harbaugh and staff credit for developing players on the defense, but not "blame" them for not developing talent on the OL.  To me, this is an oversimplification.  Maybe, the players on the OL were developed to the extent that their talent allowed them.  Just because the OL weren't all-Americans does not mean the staff failed to develop them.  You'll obviuosly never know this, but the comparison ought to be what they became under one staff's teaching vs. what they would have become under another staff.

In a rare instance, both Bayless and Smith both agree Hamilton was a scapegoat at Indianapolis, citing dysfunctional team, Luck, Pagano, defense as alternative sources of blame to Hamilton.

Here, in 2010 video (WR coach @ Stanford) 1:23Harbaugh talks about Hamilton, says he likes that Hamilton is demanding to WR's, and likes the unique way Hamilton speaks. 2:29 Hamilton mentions mentors: Paul Hackett, Norv Turner, Ron Turner, Jimmy Raye

This is all over Cleveland twitters right now. Browns don't want to lose him- Rapoport is reporting that Hamilton just "really likes college" although it's hard for me to image what he wouldn't like about being part of the finely honed machine of excellence that is the Cleveland Browns.

Goes to work every day spouting bull shit and is usually wrong.  A broken clock is right twice a day.  Unless it's digital or on your phone, then when they are broken they are neither right nor wrong.  So he is as useful as a poorly operating outdated mechanical machine and I believe he's a Michigan guy so yeah. Must have taken classes with Drew Sharpe(rip).

Fans of losing teams are always going to approve. We don't finish the season well and even people on here...more than I'd like to acknowledge, were happy to see Drevno rumors and were saying Brandon Peters without a doubt is starting next year. The option you've never seen is often the most popular option in sports. I just laugh because we lose a recruit and half of these same people go "DOESNT MATTER...IN HARBAUGH I TRUST!!!!" But wait, you don't trust his choice for starting QB after a seasons worth of practices or his choice for OC after years of working with him and results?
