I used to have season tickets, but elected to give them up about 5 years ago. It had nothing to do with record. When you have a small child, Saturdays are the days for gymnastics meets, soccer games, Girl Scout Fast Traxk, et al. My ladies are going to be gone next weekend, though. Thinking I may have to grab the guys and go scalp some tix.

Thanks. I try to go to a few PSU games a year: most other games are "go to party and tailgate" game (like last week, I was at PSU/IU) but this is a "spend time with family" game. I'm going w/ my Mom and brother. I live out West and I'm flying in for this as opposed to flying in for Thanksgiving.
My Mom is a trooper - she's well into her 70s now. We went to PSU/MSU last year (same situation, fly in for that instead of Thanksgiving). That game had the interminable 4-hour lightning delay. But she stuck through it in the rain and chill.

It's disgusting that the other 3 "best" programs in our division are such an embarrassment to college football - and it takes a lot to be reprehensible under the current constructs of the NCAA. Should just take those 4 teams, add in Baylor, and create a new division called

mgrowold, its this type of fretting over a team like BYE that earns you that negative-nancy reputation that others jumped you for earlier this week. buck up, we have the best coaches around and they have game-planned for BYE. i hear we are going to run a HI offense and then really get them with a HELLO defensive front. special teams have been working on the 'BUH-' play, a zinger.

Nah, their SOS is right in the middle. Yes, BYE plays all of the #1 ranked offenses and defenses in every category, but they also play all of the bottom feeders. We have a solid shot to beat the BYEs.

The best thing about Bye is it takes no effort to beat them. It's like they just don't exist on the field.
