Might as well have a repository for takes on this game.

It doesn't invalidate the win because Michigan didn't lose to OSU in the title game.  Alabama lost to Georgia in the rematch, which took the starch out of that win.  Yes, it would suck as a Michigan fan to see the Buckeyes back into a title like that but they are two completely different circumstances.

I will forever loathe USC. Because of their pathetic display in the P12 game, the assholes in Ohio get their shot to win a title when they sat on their ass at home during the B1G championship game. Absolute horseshit

One thing is clear - Ohio saw how we disrupted Stroud last game and decided they would fix their problems - Stroud has been rolling out a lot more and even running some. The 4th down run that was overturned on penalty was a great call.

Sometimes, losing your last game isn't all that bad if you can then enter the playoffs hungrier. Georgia last year for one.

This is pretty much my synopsis of my current feelings. During the year, as in past years, I wouldn’t get too worked up about a Michigan loss. I’d go about my day; wishing there was a win that wasn’t, but moving on with life.

Even last year, I had minimal expectations for the playoff game against Georgia, so when they lost that game, I was is reasonable spirits .

Tonight- nope. This was a winnable game. A game I believed would be somewhat challenging, but that Michigan would be Michigan and pull away. A game where I got the Clark Griswold “Jelly of the Month” club bonus when I’d been relying on the consistency shown game after game. Tonight just didn’t make sense.

So that being said, I’m back to being pissed off after a loss. And maybe that’s a good thing. But as far as this second game, I don’t give a petrified shit about it. Ohio State can piss off, and so can Georgia. Happy New Year.

How the hell does OSU have an elite WR like Harrison Jr. and a couple very good WRs around him while Michigan has Wilson, who is pretty good, and then very little WR talent around Wilson?

Because Michigan doesn’t run an offense that turns even elite WR prospects into elite 1st round talent - as seen with the ‘lauded’ 2017 WR class.

If you come to Michigan at this point - you’re going to be a glorified blocker 99% of the time.

Until Michigan can create a consistent and competent passing attack that really allows WR talent to shine, it’s gonna be a rarity to get elite prospects here.

At this point, the only elite skill guys Michigan should be hauling in are RBs and TEs.

Actually, our worst nightmare would have been to comeback and rally to win tonight and feel great  then play the Stroud and Ryan Day aggressive play calling from tonight. We would lose the rematch.

Not happy with any loss but losing to Ohio for the NC would be inconsolable.

Georgia learned nothing from our game against OSU. We didn’t pressure Stroud that much but kept them from getting chunk plays.  Blitz doesn’t get to him when he drops back 12 yards and they are letting receivers run free.

Georgia looks beatable.  We've already beaten Ohio State so we know they are beatable.

But none of that matters because we shit the bed in a game we could have easily won.

Fuck everything.

I figured OSU would be able to throw a bit on Georgia but I'm amazed how bad Georgia has been getting pressure.  You aren't beating Stroud if he's got 4-5 seconds to survey the field.
