It’s going to be a wild roller coaster ride for OSU fans in relation to Ryan Day when Ohio State wins the national championship this season and then loses its third game in a row to Michigan next season. 😉
December 31st, 2022 at 10:22 PM ^
We’re in this weird spot where it feels like Michigan gameplans for OSU all year and does it well, but cant sniff a title. OSU is getting punched in the mouth by us but still has the horses to win it all if they back into the playoff
December 31st, 2022 at 10:09 PM ^
You can’t tell me how to feel about anything.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:12 PM ^
And why they should have never made it to the CFP
December 31st, 2022 at 10:13 PM ^
So you are equating a meaningless sec championship game of two non-rivals to THE game? Got it.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:23 PM ^
If OSU wins the title, The Game becomes a footnote to history. 2022 would be the year OSU had the best football team, not the year Michigan beat them.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:24 PM ^
It doesn't invalidate the win because Michigan didn't lose to OSU in the title game. Alabama lost to Georgia in the rematch, which took the starch out of that win. Yes, it would suck as a Michigan fan to see the Buckeyes back into a title like that but they are two completely different circumstances.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:11 PM ^
Georgia should go back to running it down their throats this half.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:11 PM ^
I will forever loathe USC. Because of their pathetic display in the P12 game, the assholes in Ohio get their shot to win a title when they sat on their ass at home during the B1G championship game. Absolute horseshit
December 31st, 2022 at 10:15 PM ^
Maybe USC will visit the Big House in 2024?
December 31st, 2022 at 10:22 PM ^
Hopefully on a cold November Saturday!
December 31st, 2022 at 10:17 PM ^
Any chance of snow in the 2nd half?

Our worst nightmare is playing out 🤯
December 31st, 2022 at 10:29 PM ^
This is setting up to be our worst nightmare. Georgia isn’t even get pressure on Stroud
December 31st, 2022 at 10:32 PM ^
Nah. Our “worst” nightmare would be losing to OSU in the final. Make no mistake, this absolutely sucks, but that would be much worse.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:33 PM ^
To be fair, apparently holding has been turned off. I guess the refs want a high score like the Fiesta?
December 31st, 2022 at 10:34 PM ^
I'm starting to fall apart mentally here.
If you pressure him, he's not that great. If you don't, it's over.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
One thing is clear - Ohio saw how we disrupted Stroud last game and decided they would fix their problems - Stroud has been rolling out a lot more and even running some. The 4th down run that was overturned on penalty was a great call.
Sometimes, losing your last game isn't all that bad if you can then enter the playoffs hungrier. Georgia last year for one.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:36 PM ^
We can thank Lincoln Riley for this
December 31st, 2022 at 10:30 PM ^
This is pretty much my synopsis of my current feelings. During the year, as in past years, I wouldn’t get too worked up about a Michigan loss. I’d go about my day; wishing there was a win that wasn’t, but moving on with life.
Even last year, I had minimal expectations for the playoff game against Georgia, so when they lost that game, I was is reasonable spirits .
Tonight- nope. This was a winnable game. A game I believed would be somewhat challenging, but that Michigan would be Michigan and pull away. A game where I got the Clark Griswold “Jelly of the Month” club bonus when I’d been relying on the consistency shown game after game. Tonight just didn’t make sense.
So that being said, I’m back to being pissed off after a loss. And maybe that’s a good thing. But as far as this second game, I don’t give a petrified shit about it. Ohio State can piss off, and so can Georgia. Happy New Year.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:30 PM ^
Third and short is a passing down for OSU and they’re gonna win it all bc of it.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:31 PM ^
Ohio State taking Georgia to task does rub salt in the wound. Wow we just fucked up and shit the bed so critically.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:33 PM ^
I'm sorry I was only half-kidding when I said OSU was going to beat Georgia with basketball on grass.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:31 PM ^
How the hell does OSU have an elite WR like Harrison Jr. and a couple very good WRs around him while Michigan has Wilson, who is pretty good, and then very little WR talent around Wilson?
December 31st, 2022 at 10:33 PM ^
Because since the early 2000s, OSU has made winning football a games a greater priority than Michigan at the expense of institutional ethics.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:36 PM ^
Same requirements as Michigan so try again.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:34 PM ^
Because we refuse to throw the fucking ball until we are behind and it is too late. What WR is in to that?
December 31st, 2022 at 10:37 PM ^
Good point, M-Dog.
The current style of Michigan offense certainly does not lend itself to recruiting top shelf WR talent.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:42 PM ^
Because Michigan doesn’t run an offense that turns even elite WR prospects into elite 1st round talent - as seen with the ‘lauded’ 2017 WR class.
If you come to Michigan at this point - you’re going to be a glorified blocker 99% of the time.
Until Michigan can create a consistent and competent passing attack that really allows WR talent to shine, it’s gonna be a rarity to get elite prospects here.
At this point, the only elite skill guys Michigan should be hauling in are RBs and TEs.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:32 PM ^
Actually, our worst nightmare would have been to comeback and rally to win tonight and feel great then play the Stroud and Ryan Day aggressive play calling from tonight. We would lose the rematch.
Not happy with any loss but losing to Ohio for the NC would be inconsolable.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:33 PM ^
Fuck USC. Fuck Georgia. Thanks for making a bad night 1,000,000 times worse.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
Fucking Lincoln Riley, I fucking hate that choking POS
December 31st, 2022 at 10:42 PM ^
Thank you starts with the coaching staff and the truly shitty job they did in planning and preparing this team for the Fiesta Bowl. Win there and none of this matters.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:51 PM ^
Don't be a Ham.
For all we know USC would have whooped our ass today too.
December 31st, 2022 at 11:06 PM ^
With that defense? No. USC is as physical as toilet paper. USC is the team Michigan thought they were getting in TCU
December 31st, 2022 at 10:33 PM ^
Who let BPONE out of its cage? I'd like to have a word.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:37 PM ^
I think you're going to get plenty of opportunities.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:34 PM ^
It’s happening. Fuck.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
So this is what it looks like when your team schemes to your specific opponent?
December 31st, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
Georgia learned nothing from our game against OSU. We didn’t pressure Stroud that much but kept them from getting chunk plays. Blitz doesn’t get to him when he drops back 12 yards and they are letting receivers run free.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
Georgia looks beatable. We've already beaten Ohio State so we know they are beatable.
But none of that matters because we shit the bed in a game we could have easily won.
Fuck everything.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:40 PM ^
Feels like a bad dream. ** How the fuck can the coaches shit the bad this bad ** Nightmares of precious coaching regimes.
December 31st, 2022 at 11:24 PM ^
Michigan bowel game curse
^that was an autocorrect error, but I’ll let it stand.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:36 PM ^
My newsfeed has Michigan losing in controversial fashion and below it was about Ukraine being bombed. Why this bothers me is pathetic.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:36 PM ^
CJ Stroud is going to have the weirdest reputation at OSU. National Title and no W against Michigan.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:37 PM ^
I figured OSU would be able to throw a bit on Georgia but I'm amazed how bad Georgia has been getting pressure. You aren't beating Stroud if he's got 4-5 seconds to survey the field.
December 31st, 2022 at 11:08 PM ^
Agreed 100%. Where's plan B when 4 aren't getting home?
December 31st, 2022 at 10:37 PM ^
2021 UGA Defense >>>>> 2022 UGA D
December 31st, 2022 at 10:37 PM ^
Looks like you need to be able to win a shoot out to win in the playoff.
