You haven't lost it yet? Tips?
December 31st, 2022 at 9:26 PM ^
The main thing that Day’s teams lack is mental fortitude. They had that in spade under Urban Meyer, but under Day they crumble once the momentum swings against them.
Meyer’s team always played with the underdog/“Us Against the World” mentality that I strongly believe Day hasn’t been able to mimick.
December 31st, 2022 at 9:26 PM ^
The only fair comparison for UM is to have the Buckeyes play TCU and see how they do.
December 31st, 2022 at 11:27 PM ^
only if they get 7 points taken off the board and throw two pick 6's, then its fair and it won't happen.

So when do the "Harbaugh was talking to the Broncos all last week" rumors start popping up??
December 31st, 2022 at 10:01 PM ^
Probably not until he goes out there to interview for the job.
December 31st, 2022 at 11:31 PM ^
All I’m saying is we’ve found our ceiling with Harbaugh. It ain’t a bad ceiling, especially considering where Michigan has been. I’ll take where we are vs where we’ve been. But I don’t think Michigan wins a national title under Jim Harbaugh.
I think Jim is the guy who brings them back from the depths of hell, which he’s done in spades, but if your goal is a national title, I have my doubts.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:41 PM ^
I’m sure I will get negged for this, but if he wants to go, at this point, just let him go.
I am extremely grateful to Harbaugh for what he has done for Michigan, and he has absolutely brought them back from the depths of the underworld. He’s made them a national title contender. But it’s hard for me to see them winning a national title with him at the helm.
I will absolutely credit Harbaugh for bringing a killer instinct into the Ohio State game the last two years. That is what Michigan needed, more than anything over the past decade. He has accomplished the primary goal.
But is he the guy that will take Michigan to the final level? If they want to give him another year or two to figure it out, fine. He’s earned that. But I don’t have a lot of confidence that we will be sitting here two years from now with much difference in the results we currently have.
I’m not saying fire him. No one in their right mind would fire this man. But if he walks into WM‘s office and says he has an inkling to coach in the league again, just let him go.
December 31st, 2022 at 11:29 PM ^
preparation for this game was kind of telling. Never seen harbaugh shake his head so much at the playcalls coming over his head set. There was obviously a conflict within the staff on how to approach this game.
December 31st, 2022 at 9:27 PM ^
I’m obsessed with ESPNs obsession with “sad Michigan fan” cutaway shots. After every single TCU play it was cut away to Michigan fans. Not TCU fans.
hardly seeing that with this game
December 31st, 2022 at 9:29 PM ^
That's because Michigan was making sad plays, literally all game.
December 31st, 2022 at 9:33 PM ^
Honestly, twitter/fb michigan fans post osu have been disgusting and big headed. We deserved it.
December 31st, 2022 at 9:44 PM ^
Who's "we" ? Twitter world? Eff that. That ain't plenty of us. We don't deserve any of that cesspool karma.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:00 PM ^
Yea Twatter sucks balls…stay away from that trash.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:43 PM ^
I was referring to fan camera shots, not the losing part. The fans online went in talking how we'd run over Georgia this year ignoring tcu.
December 31st, 2022 at 9:34 PM ^
It's weird Georgia wants to run the ball but they have a competent passing game that's modern and makes sense that compliments their running game. So it can be done
December 31st, 2022 at 9:44 PM ^
I don’t know, I feel like their linebackers should be getting more touches in the red zone.
December 31st, 2022 at 9:35 PM ^
College needs the NFL contact rules. It’s so fucking stupid that guys are down if they aren’t tackled by anyone.
December 31st, 2022 at 9:35 PM ^
Ohio State winning the national championship won't change the fact that Michigan absolutely kicked their ass in Columbus.
If they win the title, it will be the least satisfying championship any team has ever won in any sport.
Michigan 45, Ohio State 23.
December 31st, 2022 at 9:37 PM ^
My man. Yes it will. Especially if they molly whop TCU.
December 31st, 2022 at 9:36 PM ^
I don’t get it. Why didn’t Georgia do a trick play or a play they’ve never done all season with a player still learning the position?
December 31st, 2022 at 9:36 PM ^
Good I think UGA is going to win this game now. Now UAG has a mauling OL, unlike our OL that got dominated by a bunch of 2 and 3 stars!
December 31st, 2022 at 9:41 PM ^
Ultimately, Georgia is so physically talented and juiced to the gills that they will probably win this game.
December 31st, 2022 at 9:42 PM ^
Ryan Day cajones. Wow. Negated. What a shit illegal motion by that idiot.
December 31st, 2022 at 9:44 PM ^
Day should have ran the 2 Nd and inches on 2 Nd down .
December 31st, 2022 at 9:52 PM ^
Does 11 Warriors start the #FireDay campaign after this game?
December 31st, 2022 at 9:55 PM ^
OSU might crumble against Michigan, but not against Georgia. Up 28-24 and playing well...
December 31st, 2022 at 9:57 PM ^
This is not the Georgia defense of last year, and I think that’s apparent.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:01 PM ^
We are built to beat OSU
OSU is built to beat Georgia
football is weird
December 31st, 2022 at 9:56 PM ^
We want Georgia to win right?
December 31st, 2022 at 10:54 PM ^
My wife is from Ohio, I fucking hate the SEC, and really fucking hate Stetson Bennet, and I really really really hate OSU. So whatever happens, happens.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:00 PM ^
We really have good cover guys. Georgia's secondary looks a lot worse against OSU so far.
When we did give up big pass plays tonight, it was almost always because we were caught in a blitz that didn't get there. Minter's probably second-guessing that one when it was 41-38.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:58 PM ^
Georgia's defense looks like it has no plan B if plan A doesn't work.
I get plan A usually works for Georgia, but it's game like this that make coaches. Just like Knowles was exposed against Michigan.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:00 PM ^
I hate everything about this.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:00 PM ^
Fuck USC. And fuck Lincoln Riley. You fucking shit your pants when it mattered most, let OSU fall ass first into the CFP when they had no business being there, and now we’re all having to live with it.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:03 PM ^
You could say they didn’t deserve to be there based on championship games but them being up on Georgia at halftime actually shows they do have business being there.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:12 PM ^
Did anyone think OSU was a shitty team when we beat them? Fact is, OSU is a very good and very dangerous team. We beat them because we had a better game plan on that day. I sure as shit wouldn't want to play them again had we won today.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:20 PM ^
After watching the first half of the Peach Bowl, I'm wondering if Michigan just managed to catch this OSU team on a really off day.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:41 PM ^
Two straight seasons? Nah, Michigan just had a good gameplan for this version of OSU while it appears this OSU is just a bad matchup/gameplan for Georgia.
December 31st, 2022 at 11:00 PM ^
Some of it is matchups. UGA secondary isn't as good as Michigan's for instance.
But I'm not sure how replicable 5 TDs of 40+ yards are against anybody.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:21 PM ^
We are an awful matchup for them for like a dozen reasons. TCU was way scarier to me than OSU.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:22 PM ^
And his damn offensive coordinator brother beat us today as well. Screw the Riley’s
December 31st, 2022 at 11:02 PM ^
Lincoln Riley's superpower isn't his offense, but his ability to consistently take 4 star players on defense and make them soft as shit. Those OU teams looked disinterested in tackling. So did USC.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:01 PM ^
Come on Dawgs. Give me this. I need it.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:03 PM ^
I am in the minority and will take my negs but I hope OSU wins this game, and then goes on to win it all. No shame in being the team that gave the national champion their only blemish, and a large blemish at that. Bring the national championship back to the B1G.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:20 PM ^
OSU winning the national title would help them in recruiting, which hurts Michigan. It would also make Michigan’s win over them meaningless. Their team would be celebrated as the best in football while Michigan fumbled away their chance at the title. It would make the game in November a footnote in history.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:27 PM ^
Michigan doesn't recruit at OSUs level anyways. We really don't have many battles with them these days.
December 31st, 2022 at 10:04 PM ^
Regardless on who wins this game I’ll root for TCU, I like a good underdog story. Feel like if they run the table makes our loss look better?
December 31st, 2022 at 10:04 PM ^
Ask Alabama fans if they think much of their win over UGA in the SEC title game last year. They’ll tell you they don’t because UGA won the national title. OSU winning the national title would 100% spoil Michigan’s win in Columbus. It would make it meaningless. Who cares about a win in the regular season when the other team gets the third national title this century?
December 31st, 2022 at 10:07 PM ^
Eat shit, troll cocksucker.
