Might as well have a repository for takes on this game.

The main thing that Day’s teams lack is mental fortitude. They had that in spade under Urban Meyer, but under Day they crumble once the momentum swings against them.

Meyer’s team always played with the underdog/“Us Against the World” mentality that I strongly believe Day hasn’t been able to mimick.

All I’m saying is we’ve found our ceiling with Harbaugh. It ain’t a bad ceiling, especially considering where Michigan has been. I’ll take where we are vs where we’ve been. But I don’t think Michigan wins a national title under Jim Harbaugh.

I think Jim is the guy who brings them back from the depths of hell, which he’s done in spades, but if your goal is a national title, I have my doubts.

I’m sure I will get negged for this, but if he wants to go, at this point, just let him go.

I am extremely grateful to Harbaugh for what he has done for Michigan, and he has absolutely brought them back from the depths of the underworld. He’s made them a national title contender. But it’s hard for me to see them winning a national title with him at the helm.

I will absolutely credit Harbaugh for bringing a killer instinct into the Ohio State game the last two years. That is what Michigan needed, more than anything over the past decade. He has accomplished the primary goal.

But is he the guy that will take Michigan to the final level? If they want to give him another year or two to figure it out, fine. He’s earned that. But I don’t have a lot of confidence that we will be sitting here two years from now with much difference in the results we currently have.

I’m not saying fire him. No one in their right mind would fire this man. But if he walks into WM‘s office and says he has an inkling to coach in the league again, just let him go.

I’m obsessed with ESPNs obsession with “sad Michigan fan” cutaway shots. After every single TCU play it was cut away to Michigan fans. Not TCU fans.

hardly seeing that with this game

It's weird Georgia wants to run the ball but they have a competent passing game that's modern and makes sense that compliments their running game. So it can be done

Ohio State winning the national championship won't change the fact that Michigan absolutely kicked their ass in Columbus.

If they win the title, it will be the least satisfying championship any team has ever won in any sport.

Michigan 45, Ohio State 23.

I don’t get it. Why didn’t Georgia do a trick play or a play they’ve never done all season with a player still learning the position?

We really have good cover guys.  Georgia's secondary looks a lot worse against OSU so far.

When we did give up big pass plays tonight, it was almost always because we were caught in a blitz that didn't get there.  Minter's probably second-guessing that one when it was 41-38.

Fuck USC. And fuck Lincoln Riley. You fucking shit your pants when it mattered most, let OSU fall ass first into the CFP when they had no business being there, and now we’re all having to live with it.

I am in the minority and will take my negs but I hope OSU wins this game, and then goes on to win it all.  No shame in being the team that gave the national champion their only blemish, and a large blemish at that.  Bring the national championship back to the B1G.

OSU winning the national title would help them in recruiting, which hurts Michigan. It would also make Michigan’s win over them meaningless. Their team would be celebrated as the best in football while Michigan fumbled away their chance at the title. It would make the game in November a footnote in history.

Ask Alabama fans if they think much of their win over UGA in the SEC title game last year. They’ll tell you they don’t because UGA won the national title. OSU winning the national title would 100% spoil Michigan’s win in Columbus. It would make it meaningless. Who cares about a win in the regular season when the other team gets the third national title this century?
