Paul Finebaum "Never been more wrong about anything in my entire life"
You gotta love it. This team and these coaches have constantly proven the naysayers wrong. I have never been happier as a fan and more proud of a team than I am for team 144. Go Blue!

I don't care what he says, the man has beclowned himself, or bemoused in this instance.

Hysterical - Finebaum: "I was actually cheering for him last night. I can't explain it. Probably something weird from when I was a baby."

The only rationale I can think of Finebaum "cheering" for Michigan / Harbaugh last night was - Michigan defeated his beloved Saban / Bama.
And then - Bama would have lost to "the National Champion"... which, by the way - they did.

No reason to administer click bait at this point. The problem I have with Pete is he knew Harbaugh was a great coach even when he was saying Jim would never beat Ohio State. Ohio State fans knew as well. Rival fan bases wanted Jim out at Michigan when he wasn't winning the Big 10 because they saw this coming.
Michigan fans and administrators need to understand greatness not trying to eliminate it and many of our fans tried to do so despite Harbaugh making Michigan competitive again. Thankfully Jim was humble and stayed, now Michigan is the national champion.
.I hope Coach Harbaugh continues to stay.

Finebaum hates Harbaugh because Harbaugh is what Finebaum never will be - a winner. Harbaugh wins everywhere he goes. Finebaum is a crotchety old man commenting on sports, something he's likely never been any good at.

This guy sucks. ESPN should get rid of him and we should stop giving him attention. He's a useless SEC slappy with no real analysis. He's basically Stephen A Smith but less entertaining and I don't like Stephen A. To hell with you Paul, good day!

Sportsmanship should be a thing.
A bitter arch-enemy was wrong, admitted it publicly, end of story. Further insults and gloating rebound badly on us.

That was a great clip! He called out Georgia?!? And said that Michigan would have beaten Georgia? If he keeps this up, he'll be as welcome in SEC country as Herbie is in Columbus.
Also, I just saw in the video where he and John were hugging after the game, then Jim hugged another guy - Tom Crean! I forgot about their relationship. It's around the 1:05 mark.

I don’t like the way that Finebaum says it, or the intentions behind it, as he is an SEC homer, but if you look at the facts objectively, his criticism of Michigan mainly pointed out our lack of natty‘s and poor post-season results. Hate him all you want, his criticism was valid. He didn’t understand why some off our more delusional fans puffed out their chests so much given our lack of national titles in the past 75 years. Now that we have exorcised those demons and can point to natty won on the field that isn’t split, his criticism is no longer valid.
