You’re presenting a false choice. We can find an assistant that is a good recruiter and a good position coach.

And there is no staff in the country that could turn a team of 2-3 stars into a program that performs at the level of Bama, Clemson, OSU etc. Wisconsin is probably the closest you’ll get. But they can’t beat those teams. At Michigan, we could have coaches that can recruit and coach.

We also have wins against to 15 teams under JH. I think Fleck is a good coach, but let’s not act like they ran through a gauntlet to get to 11 wins. They played 4 decent teams this year and went 2-2 in those games.

But you’re kinda proving my point. Fleck not getting 4 and 5*s and he did a great job and he’s in the Outback Bowl. Big whoop.

And here we are in year 5 with Harbaugh and our biggest win was what? This year's Notre Dame game that happened to be at home, in a monsoon?!

Minnesota being selected to play in the Outback bowl has nothing to do with how Flecks coaching staff is successful in coaching up unknown talent.

I cant even imagine if Fleck had Michigans recruiting pipeline.

And this was supposed to be Michigans best chance in the B1G East this season. You dont know jack shit how they are going to do next year. I'm basing my facts on real data.

Get the fuck outta here and wipe Harbaughs jizz off your face while you're at it.

No I am calling out Gucci for already predicting that Minnesota would go 8-5 next season. Preseason predictions mean jack shit. Hence why I referenced that everyone kept saying ''this was supposed to be Michigan's best chance to win the B1G East". Look how that panned out. ANOTHER 3rd place finish lol.

This is a big loss for recruiting. Top 10 recruiter every year. You can't compete with OSU like this. I  would like to see them go after Marcus Woodson at Auburn as a replacement.

Curious decision by Partridge to link his wagon to Lane Kiffin and DJ Durkin, two of the most disreputable coaches in the game.

I think it’s time for Zordich to move on too. He’s been decent but not nearly good enough. His secondaries consistently get burned against the OSU’s, PSU’s, and Bama types. Whether it is a talent gap or not, it’s not good enough. Lavert Hill was an experienced player that got burned multiple times in big games. Same with Metellus.

I've never been particularly impressed by Partridge or thought he stood out in any way however I can think back to times when his special teams unit made me curse at the television and want to throw things across the room.  Maybe as a recruiter he was decent but I'm sure we can find another random high school coach that would be willing to work hard and refine his craft.  He'll be on the breadline in 2-3 years.  Ole Miss never really works out for any coaching staff.

Wasn't realistic to think he was going to stick around forever. Best of luck to him. He's going to work for a total assclown, but its SEC football and a promotion so I can't blame him.

I'm not too terribly worried about whoever his replacement is. For all of Harbaugh's flaws here, he's consistently shown the ability to hire good assistants.

You never know. We could be out of there in three years from now. At least, I have a feeling that Kiffin won’t last long there.
