MSU doesn't have the same self regard Michigan does and, as a result, is far less fun to attack/your name as a reporter is not going to be made with this. Plus the Free Press broke the stretch/gate story for this one they're basically just going, "We're mad, too." Just not as sexy.

Seems to me Izzo and Dantonio have to leave. Nassar is perhaps the biggest sports story of the year, and with metoo# and other things going on in politics its really a bad time to be associated with him in any way.
Unless Izzo/ D were Beilein level clean (obviously not), I don't think the school wants them to prolong the questions and defending.
I've been doing my best not to think about how Nassar affects the athletic department or somehow benefits Michigan sports. If I were a judge, I would recuse. But these are my views.

Here's the thing, once one skeleton in your closet gets exposed, reporters are going to start digging and if you don't have your shit straight you're going to get blown up. Michigan state has played it fast and loose for years and has gotten away with it by maintaining plausible deniability. Well now Nassar comes along and questions get asked that the standard answers don't work for anymore. I doubt Izzo and Dantonio go anywhere(too established, too stubborn, and the justification is too thin), but there's not going to be anymore engineer beatdowns where nothing comes of it anymore. It's not really justice, but it's going to have to approximate it.
