I originally made the title as a joke, wasn't really planning on everyone freaking out about not writing Randy Moss. That's kind of the joke? Because he's known for so much more than losing the Heisman?

full responsibility for it being a bad joke.

I know. It was a bad joke.

It really was not that bad. I'm very surprised that this board, of all populations, doesn't appreciate the joke more.
Obviously Randy Moss had a fantastic, record-setting pro career, in addition to his unbelievable Motor City Bowl season at Marshall. But he didn't play for or against Michigan, his kid was not a prominent M recruiting target, and neither of them will have played for a team that Michigan is ever likely to face. The joke about losing to Woodson is the only thing that makes this relevant here (and it's also a funny faux-arrogant way to describe a HoF player).

(1) Woodson and Brady were teammates, of course. Linked in the NFL on the infamous Tuck Rule play.
(2) Moss and Brady were NFL teammates for a couple years. Only 16-0 regular-season team ever. 2007 was simply incredible: Moss' 23 TD catches is still a single-season record. Brady threw for 50, that was a single-season record until .......
(3) Peyton threw for 55 in 2013. Brady and Peyton have been dueling in the NFL forever, 15 years now.
(4) Leaf --- he's out of jail now, but when he was there, he enjoyed himself w/ pictures of Gisele.

by virtue of becoming a head coach at some obsucre high school in one of the norhwestern states. But the article I read regarding that was some time ago, so quite possible the demons he seemed to have been fighting revisted and he did, indeed, go to jail again.
As for reference to Randy, I would just say one of greatest wide receivers to every play the game. Virtutally incapable of defending and has been written, second to Neon, recorded the second fastest 40 in the history of the league. Perhaps, most importantly, and after two commits that went astray, was still capable of escaping Rand, something rarely accomplished.

Would have opted for "Former 49ers and Titans WR..." but that's just me.

All college football players lost the Heisman to Woodson that year. Might be a lot more than one of their sons going to NC State. Just saying...

+1 for title. Free baby wipes for all the whiners that downvoted you.

Just say Randy Moss.
The end.

Randy Moss is best known as finishing 3rd in a Heisman ballot in 1997? Interesting. I could have sworn he was famous for his "Straight Cash Homie" quote.
