I'll take Akron as a push vs Akron.
September 9th, 2022 at 5:14 PM ^
you're crazy.....Akron is going to cover easily over Akron...the line should be bigger
September 9th, 2022 at 5:40 PM ^
Ahh damn it I was wondering when the first screw-up would be made lol. Akron is playing Sparty*
September 9th, 2022 at 6:40 PM ^
So, Vegas sees what we see and made the Zips the favorite? Prodigious.
September 10th, 2022 at 12:25 AM ^
So which way does the line lean? I think i will take the over regardless. Akron is definitely gonna beat Sparty by more than 35.
September 9th, 2022 at 5:13 PM ^
I like the fighting Fitz's at home against Duuuuuuuke
September 9th, 2022 at 11:50 PM ^

September 9th, 2022 at 6:13 PM ^
MTSU +11 at Colorado State
Iowa -3.5 vs Iowa State
U-La-La -11.5 vs Eastern Michigan
Pittsburgh +6 vs Tennessee
UAB -6.5 at Liberty
September 9th, 2022 at 9:48 PM ^
I'm not sure Iowa could cover that line even if they shut out Iowa State.
I watched some of that game. Blame the lack of scholarship WRs or Petras, but that OL is an absolute disaster right now.
September 10th, 2022 at 12:34 AM ^
Please let Iowa score 3 and win. I badly want us to face an undefeated team on the road that scored a total of 20 points in 4 games, and we can beat that total in one half! I know, turn on/off the light switch 10 times, throw salt over my shoulder, walk around the ladder on the street and turn around when I see a black cat...but this team is so historically good/bad it needs it's own feature length film staring Nick Cage as coach Ferentz.
September 9th, 2022 at 6:29 PM ^
I somehow got Alabama 1st half line at -11.5, it's now up to -14.
WVU -13
Central Florida -6.5
EMU +11.5
Kansas State -7.5
CMU -4.5
Illinois -4.5
CSU -7.5
September 9th, 2022 at 6:47 PM ^
IOWA HAWKEYES 4
IOWA STATE CYLCONES 0
IOWA -3.5 is my pick of the week.
September 9th, 2022 at 11:45 PM ^
if you jumped on it earlier you would of gotten the bama first half line at 10
September 9th, 2022 at 6:39 PM ^
Wow, this is kind of a bare week.
September 9th, 2022 at 6:42 PM ^
UCF -6.5 plus the rest of the stack on UCF ML.
have to double up before Saturday
September 9th, 2022 at 11:44 PM ^
your post aged well.. every good capper was on this one for a while
Louisville ML was the PLAY, plus 6.5 as well
September 10th, 2022 at 10:22 AM ^
RIP lol
September 9th, 2022 at 6:55 PM ^
I have Iowa with 3 safeties this week.
September 9th, 2022 at 7:20 PM ^
Yes, because what was this?! This is a team that was in the BIG10 Championship game just 8 months ago?
September 9th, 2022 at 10:34 PM ^
I had to look at the next level box score. Iowa punted 10 times. Can we stop worrying about Iowa now? Weird things happen? Not more than anywhere else.
I know SDSU is much better than their name recognition, but they do have a new QB so while it is hard to judge a team by one game, we also know that Iowa lost a key chunk of whatever talent they had last year.
September 9th, 2022 at 7:02 PM ^
Last week: 23-9 in the Yahoo Pick 'em
These are my favorites for this week.....
@Miami (-24.5) v S. Miss - Take Miami and the points
@Arkansas (-8.5) v S. Carolina - Soo Wee! Take the Hogs plus the points
Tennessee (-6.5) v @ Pitt - Don t love this one, but take Pitt. The better bet is to take the over
@Wisconsin (-17) v Washington St - Badgers play D and Allen is legit. Take the Badgers plus points
@Texas A&M (-19) v "Those guys" - There is something about some teams, they relish being the underdogs. Take those guys to cover and also parlay it by taking the over
September 9th, 2022 at 7:06 PM ^
59-7? Enticing bet, just like they want it.
I don't know if it matters if Michigan even passes once, Hawaii's run defense is soo bad.
Tenn at Pitt might be a good game.
September 9th, 2022 at 8:14 PM ^
Did anyone see the Louisville QB just take the worst flop ever against UCF? Holy shit that was bad acting.
September 9th, 2022 at 9:06 PM ^
Mich -50
Iowa vs. Iowa St U 40
Akron +34.5
OU -33
UGA -52
Pitt +7
SGP: Mich -51.5, O67, Hawaii U 10.5
September 9th, 2022 at 9:46 PM ^
Tennessee v. Pitt over 64.5
UNLV +13 over Cal
UAB -6.5 over Liberty
Missouri v. Kansas St. under 57.5
Wake -13.5 over Vandy
September 9th, 2022 at 9:52 PM ^
I'd jump all over Kentucky +7 if it gets that high. I expect that to be a defensive game.
Iowa State +3.5. Some of it is Iowa's inept offense. Kind of feel ISU is just due on this one.
September 9th, 2022 at 10:03 PM ^
The Florida Gators are Smooth Jimmy's Lock of the Week
September 9th, 2022 at 10:21 PM ^
Heard earlier today the Northwestern team total is set at 33.5, which seems awfully high for them
September 9th, 2022 at 10:35 PM ^
I like Air Force over Colorado.
September 9th, 2022 at 11:26 PM ^

Respect for the depth here. Haven’t played college player props but a play a lot of NFL player props. Will try these out today.
September 10th, 2022 at 12:35 AM ^
Games I really like:
Alabama -20.5 (Texas has some young talent, but this is going to be ugly)
Michigan -51
USC -8.5
Games that I would put on small parlay just to make it more fun to watch:
Akron +34.5
Army + 3
Kentucky +6
Michigan/Hawaii over 66 (Harbaugh tries to slow the abuse, but Michigan might score 56+ in the first half).
September 10th, 2022 at 1:31 AM ^
For Saturday I really like Ewers over 205 passing yards.
Texas +21
Iowa -3.5
USC -8.5 (seems too good to be true, prob a stay away)

Gambling is illegal at brushwood and I never slice
September 10th, 2022 at 8:57 AM ^
NU, Army, CMU, UI, UAB, UF, OkSU, MissSt to beat the spread.
Discussion:
UM could easily cover, but Harbaugh will probably play everyone on the squad for morale & health reasons, so the blowout will slow by early in Q4. 35-0 at half and yet UM won’t cover.
Bama might be the safest to cover. They are going to score a lot of points and Saban, with his marauding band of 5 stars, will make life hard for Ewers.
UT is an enigma at this point. I immediately picked this game for UT to cover vs Pitt. Lots of talent and Heupel can direct an explosive O, but their culture has been about hype + mediocrity for almost 2 decades at this point. Still think UT wins big.
UF - UK spread only 6? Napier is a good coach and he just beat Utah at home, so folks must believe UK is solid this year. I think UF by 7 or more.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:48 PM ^
I went with under 65 for TX Bama
+6 Pitt as a home dog
