I don't know if it's a guarantee he wouldn't have succeeded at Alabama. He'd have had the budget to pay for the assistant coaches he wanted, a much better roster off the bat, far lower academic standards, not to mention limitless bagman assistance.

Honestly the Rich Rod years to me are like that night where you drink wayyy too much and bring an ugly girl home, and while it may bother you for like 3-4 days you can’t even visualize it anymore (thank god) after a decade.
