OT: Urban Meyer proves once a hypocritical douche always a hypocritical douche

Our schedule sucks. Thankfully, we got tested a little anyway last week. You need to meet different KINDS of adversity along the way to be battle tested, and I worry we won't be.

Meyer is a very stupid lemon, and the vagaries of scheduling are not always in a coach's control. Meyer would have been making a far more salient point if he had noticed how badly the rest of the B1G sucks, criticized them for sucking.

I for one am not in the meteor camp tomorrow; I want ND to destroy OSU. Not because I like ND more, but because OSU is a bigger competitor this year. Totally happy if OSU is knocked from the race by this game! In case Meyer hasn't noticed, that happens to lots of other teams. FSU and Clemson may be looking at much the same scenario, and we'll be playing PSU and OSU.

EDIT: What he's worried about--it seems to me--is that there won't be a route to the playoff after OSU loses to ND and Michigan.

urban meyer's thought on things holds the same importance to me as his wedding vows do to him.

Let him talk. Playing cupcakes in the non-con is exactly the right move with a 4-team CFP.

Once OSU loses to ND, they will be certainly OUT of the picture when we beat them in November. Last year, they snuck in with one loss.

Also, our schedule this season has worked out well given the issues at OT and our injuries.

Didn't Notre Dame cancel the whole thing?  ND was the chickenshit.  I think the OSU game was just ND trolling us.

OSU’s 2024 schedule is soft. So is PSU’s.

I might be wrong but didn't Notre Dame terminate our series with them?  I think we want to play ND every year, for some reason.  

This feels like just an excuse to dog U of M. There is no incentive to schedule tough non-conference games in the 4 team playoff. His fear that an expanded playoff will make marque matches less likely feels unfounded. Overall, Urban is what we thought he was...an asshat.

Most programs end up having an OOC schedule like ours at some point. Ours just happens to hit when we are currently #2 and thus the scrutiny. At the end of the season our conference wins will either prove UM deserves to be in the playoffs or expose them. 

Urban really needs to do a little research before spouting off about Notre Dame. They are the ones who opted out of the series.

Urban clearly believes the Buckeyes will lose tomorrow.  Moreover, the reason we don't play Notre Dame anymore is that they got tired of getting kicked around the Big House so often -- they said Purdue was a more important rivalry.

And yet, our schedule truly is a disgrace, so we deserve this.

What I like about this is that he's talking about them missing the playoff if they lose to Michigan.

If they lose to ND and win out, they probably still make the playoff. 

So what he's actually saying is he's worried about them losing to Michigan 

I suspect he wants his old job back at the Central Ohio School for Footballs.  A third loss (in a row) by Day to 'That team up north' will have the buckeye faithful calling for Day to be fired and for Urban to return to coach the team.

Our schedule looks tougher by years end than Georgias. They basically have Tennessee and that doesn’t even look tough after last week. 

This is same douche bag that protected a coach that beat his wife and ignored it.  I hate this 🤡.
