Walker sure is full of himself.

It'll be beautiful seeing him cut down to size next season---he's only 6'0" to begin with, but still towers over Tiny Tom.

He sure doesn't hate himself:

"I can score on anybody, not just against people in our conference," Walker said.

"My ability to get people open shots, I think that will be the biggest thing. And being able to make shots," Walker said. "I know I can't take as many shots as I've taken here, so it's going to have to change a little bit. But my assists will go up because of the people around me."

Loyer, Hoggard and Watts.  They are all different levels of a mess.  At least one is presumably leaving as MSU has Walker and Akins coming in.  And Christie will take minutes at the two which might nudge Rocket out.

They want Christie to be on ball a lot as well, which will take away from the PG having the ball in his hands. I think they want Max to be a Denzel Valentine type. Their PG will only be asked to score. He’s been sold a bag of bs.

I don’t think anyone is saying MSU becomes Nebraska, but unless they get some more transfers (and don’t lose any contributors in the meantime) then they will essentially be the same team plus some talented freshmen. Either Izzo would have to figure out how to coach young guys or Bingham, Brown, and Loyer will have to make huge jumps for them to be competitive next year. I don’t see either of those things happening.

I can see that opinion. I just disagree -- I want our rivals (and we have so many) to be absolute trash AND I want to crush them every year. Our rivals being great does nothing positive for the team. Exciting games with rivals? No thanks. Utterly crush them and roll on towards conference titles and great tournament results.

Yeah probably an upgrade from anyone on the current roster. They play in the Colonial conference (Drexel, Charleston, Hofstra), which Kenpom rates around the middle of the pack or below, a bit worse than the Ivy League I believe

Along with Akins and Hoggard, the floor seems to have risen from the abysmal depths of this past season

I love Michigan but I won't use one salary as the launching point for the Michigan Difference.

From Mlive.com article...

Five years after graduation, the median salary for UM bachelor’s degree holders is $61,099, according to a 2019 report from the university and the U.S. Census Bureau that explored earnings data from 2001 to 2013.

83k is solid.
