Duke (r) & Daisy (l) - 2 rescued Treeing Walker Coonhounds. A lot of work, but love them to pieces and they get you off of the couch and keep you active. Daisy definitely knows when the UM Football Mens come on the TV and to steer clear of the living room until the game is over.
Good looking dogs! We have a treeing walker rescue as well (at least that's what we think she is). Don't worry, they get a lot lazier as they age. She still wants a daily 45 minute walk, but after that she's passed out the rest of the day.
Pretty Girl and ready for her next assignment! Definitely has that TWC vibe about her.
Wallingford a.k.a. Wally, (2010-present) lab/newfie mix adopted in 2013, survived a tennis-ball sized malignant tumor on his lung a year ago and is hanging in there basically playing with house money at this point. Working from home has been a good way to make the most of the time we have left.
This is how he looks when he's annoyed at how long it's taking me to get geared up for a walk.
Those eyes!

Gorgeous GSD - they are great dogs!
Thanks, yes they are!
Bo, the Husky and Henne the mixed bread were best friends for 13 years. They passed away six days apart 4 years ago.
I didn't even notice my daughter's dog, Clover, in the background.
This is Bo Schembarkler, 3 year old Labradoodle who is disappointed that his sister will be a freshman at PSU this fall.
"Princess" Unfortunately, she passed away.
Username does NOT check out.
Here's the other one. We named him 'Taylor'. Unfortunately he set off a nuke (that had a cobalt casing).
Louie (1990-2005). He's the reason my wife and I got together. Even aside from that, he was just a cool dog.
Mrs. Sassafras Marie. Can’t upload actual pics cuz my iPhone and MGoBlog hate each other but ... she looks almost exactly like this
Sorry about your loss - I love dogs! Below are the two best I ever had - Annie (big one) died in 2003 and Bruiser (puppy) died in 2013. They were the best!
And here is current big dog - Porter - he is a beast.
Kodie 2005 - 2012. Our first dog as a married couple and my daughters' first dog as well. We've adopted two good dogs since, but they can't replace this guy.
Beautiful pics throughout.
It's like going to r/awww instead or r/politics ...
(which is great)
That was the objective.
