OT-Pats cut Antonio Brown

Can't believe it took them this long.

Pats prolly got tired of the off-the-field nonsense. AB should’ve just kept his head down and let his lawyers sort out stuff. Scary how mere allegations (in his case most likely false) can do this stuff. AB may be a douche but he didn’t have any criminal issues prior to this unlike his ex-QB who raped 2 women and is worshipped in Pittsburgh.

Yes, grew up a Steelers fan, but not anymore, which means I'm now not an NFL fan either.

The year the QB in question was in big trouble for being a rapist, Santonio Holmes was facing a 4 game suspension for smoking dope.  What did the Rooneys do?  Sent Santonio packing, but kept the QB.  Unbelievable.  Just had to have that franchise QB despite what bullshit he did.

Yes, Santonio was an Central Ohio College of Columbus grad (maybe just attended and not a graduate) and an all around douche canoe with the Ohio domestic violence award, he was no rapist (as far as we know).

Ended my Steelers and NFL fandom right there.  On the bright side, my sports disposable income goes to Michigan.

He's got like a dozen cases for all sorts of shit pending right now.  Obviously a suit alleging rape is the most serious, but he has a bunch of pending debt cases and now an allegation of harassing another lady.  He's a total mess and the Pats figured out that he was going to end up on the exemption list or just utterly embarrass them soon.

Patriots’ statement: “The New England Patriots are releasing Antonio Brown. We appreciate the hard work of many people over the past 11 days, but we feel that it is best to move in a different direction at this time.”

AB needs serious help.

After reading the story that highlighted former people who have worked with and for him, I find his behavior repugnant.

But, hey.  At least he can tell his grandkids that he caught a TD pass from Tom Brady.

Wow the AB saga continues.  It's gone from amusing (Mr. Big Chest, weird hair dye) to sad at this point.  Dude needs to step away from the NFL and get his priorities / life in order.

This dude is so toxic.... Marvin won't watch a Michigan game in the same room as him

He wouldn't even be welcomed into the "Mark Davis franchise for troubled football players".

He might have even been suspended for the first half of MSU's game vs. Tulsa or WMU.
