Thanks for posting the link, but (for future reference) including at least the minor details in your OP would be appreciated.

From the article:

"Sophomore forward Marc Loving did not travel with the Ohio State men's basketball team to Purdue. Loving has temporarily lost the privilege to wear the scarlet and gray," a statement read.

Temporarily suspended; no reason given.

That's a significant amount of production that they lose with this suspension, of course, but I will agree with someone above, framing the statement the way they did seems like a very Ohio State thing to do in some respects. In any case, I always wonder about these sudden suspensions, even if we are not owed an explanation unless it is volunteered (at least in theory).

I don't pay attention to other teams' rosters at all unless they have a star or particularly annoying player so this is my first time hearing of him.

Marc Loving.....hehehehehehe

So dude can't wear scarlet and gray and I'm sure Urban is making sure he doesn't wear maize or blue, so he's probably restricted to basic black and khakis, eh?  Unless - with Harbaugh's hiring - that's verboten as well on campus

don't forget that Urban spent several years at Florida.  There's probably some obscure SEC way to use this suspension to offset some of the oversignings that his football program has made standard practice in Columbus.

I love the snarky comments here on Loving not wearing the scarlet & gray from a school that only hires Michigan men. Of course the only great Michigan men have been Bo, Moeller, Howard, & Woodson all from Ohio. BTW, go through your list of great Michigan football and basketball men and you will find the majority are from Ohio. It seems Michigan sports is 50 shades of scarlet & gray!
