I see coach Campbell getting looked at by bigger schools as soon as this off season. He's been a head coach for 4 years now and is still in his late 30's.
The only player out there who was creating his own shot was Walton. Especially when they were playing man to man. Noone could get passed their defender by dribbling, only with picks.
I think Wilson has the most potential on the team! I'm so glad that he redshirted last year. A 6'10" pf/c that can dribble and knock down 3s has NBA lottery potential written all over it.
I would, but I'm the leader of my own clan. I have 12 good loyal guys ( I know 9 of them personally). Join my clan if you like frequent clan wars. "WuTang Clan" Red and white logo
Ohio Mr. Basketball a couple years back from Toledo sports powerhouse St. Johns HS. Same school as football's Jack Miller. Good all round in things basketball, but great at none.
He reminds me a lot of Brock Osweiler, a second date round draft pick by Denver a couple years ago. Osweiler's also well over 6'6", with some websites stating 6'8".
It's one thing to keep loyal assistants on your way up the coaching ranks, but it's another to get said assistant to make a lateral move under you. It really does say a lot about Harbaugh!
I remember before he formed The Middle Block when he was writing for Benji. That was a little bit after I got into recruiting. He surely has come a long way! Keep moving up, Brandon! I agree with what others have said about this being a great stepping stone position that many good writers will use on their way up. I have 100% faith that Brian will find a suitable replacement.
I'm not saying that I don't believe that in time he won't be good, just that from what I seen he was over rated. I love how noone can have a negative opinion about a Michigan player. If I said that the kid blocked every shot and had a jump shot mirroring Ray Allen's, my post would have been +7 lol
I saw about 4 of his games his senior year, none in person just on the local sports channel BCSN. He looked very soft to me. He pulled down rebounds against mostly smaller opponents, played below average defense, and seemed intimidated by the inner city Toledo teams. I hope he proves me wrong, but I think he is an average to good BIG 10 PF. As our starting center I think he will struggle mightily!
Most importantly, TIMMMAA's last paragraph sounded like something my Mather would say. I hope Devote reads that paragraph and thinks about it. My advice, which doesn't mean a damn, is coming from being an older brother who wished he would have listened to his dad's advice years ago.
Color me a bit skeptical that Donnal can be a 5 in the B1G. In high school he became timid and soft when competing against inner city schools, most often being quite a bit shorter to boot. I've been told by multiple sources in the area that he shy's away from contact. I hope that his first year in AA toughened him up mentally and physically. With Morgan, McGary, and Horford here to mentor him, he should have above average basketball IQ for a freshman (rs).
He has no mean streak. You've heard a myth. He was bullied by all of the inner city Toledo teams. If he works out like Caris and Nick did in the last off season, then he does have potential.
It FINALLY looks like our team is getting some much needed depth. That's one of the things that the Buckeyes have had an advantage over us the last 6-7 years.
We get that you planned on watching the game later, but it was your fault for checking websites that keep up with current events, especially sports. You're just coming off as a whiny little sibling. "But mom and dad said no posting about Olympic scores"
A friend of mine is the assistant principal at Donnal's high school. He stated that Mark is a decent athlete, has good ball skills and decent shooting (for a big man), and good post moves. The knock on Donnal is that he is very soft. He is often taken out of the game by a player of similar size (especially when he played the inner city schools). Donnal does not like contact and likes to shy away from it. I hope he goes through the same off season program as Caris and Nick did, and comes in next year as Harford ' s #2 and takes the starting role as center the year after.
