OT: OSU's New AD (Ross Bjork) gets Trashed by Forde, Wetzel, Dellinger (Podcast)
Relevant bit starts at 40:40 mark.
I don't always agree with these guys, but I do enjoy this podcast. They mostly think Bjork is a fraud and in over his head and find the hire by OSU somewhat surprising given his history. I was delightfully surprised at their candor.
The one thing they don't discuss that I think is relevant here especially given OSU's recent spending spree is Bjork's experience with NIL (at TAMU) and getting money from boosters etc. to Football players, coaches, etc. I don't think their likely quite expensive roster and coaching moves and his role as the AD are unrelated.
By all accounts, he seems to me like a perfect fit for Third Base and the boys down at OSU. Happy listening.

He is a rainmaker. That is why he was brought in.
It would not be the first time in organizational behavior that somebody with no actual expertise for the position at hand was given a job because he can schmooze $$$ out of people.
In politics that will get you an ambassadorship to a nice country. Even if you are an idiot and don't know shit about that country.

Way to go Warde. Lazy and ineffective as usual!

Let's hope his track record of squeezing a bunch of money out of booster pockets only to go and spend it all on very questionable things continues.

Björk is Swedish for, "birch."
Her 90s run in London is some of her best work, and some of the best in the trip-hop genre.
The more you know...
